老板员工很热情，帮我们联系了会说英语的嘟嘟车司机，司机人也很好。旁边有大市场和饭店。

Pros:

Staff friendly. Room good size. Bed comfortable.
Lots of surfaces to put stuff on. Shower effective

Cons:

Fridge faulty. TV not work.
Buolders doing major refurbishment on first floor. I was on second floor.
Work began at 8.45 am..Then lots of banging last 2 days during day.
No lift was a problem especially at end of the day.

Für 10 $ gab es ein großes, sauberes zentrumsnahes Zimmer. Wenn du keinen Luxus brauchst, gehe ins Royal Hotel. TIP: wenn Ihr ein Tuk Tuk für Ausflüge braucht, fragt nach Rich! Toller Typ, hat Ahnung und ist absolut fair. Es gab tagsüber Renovierungsarbeiten, war aber völlig ok, wird halt in der Nebensaison gemacht.

A eviter, vraiment HORS D’ÂGE!
Pros:

- l’emplacement est la seule chose de Royal ici!
- Leur Rooftop est agréable au coucher du soleil même si le restaurant qui s’y trouve est totalement HS, il reste de quoi se poser, des tables, des hamacs!

Cons:

- Franchement c’est pas « vieillot » comme le disent certains commentaires, c’est vraiment hors d’âge! Mais tout : les meubles, les rideaux et sa tringle des années 80, le mobilier… et même une télé cathodique! Et le problème c’est que ce n’est pas très bien entretenu donc l’état est catastrophique !
Côté propreté, le sol était vraiment sale, les meubles tranpirent la poussière et les rideaux je n’en parle même pas!
Très mauvais rapport qualité/prix, c’est un hotel qui devrait couter 10$ la nuit pas plus, l’état est catastrophique et à ce prix là c’est clairement du vol!

Pros:

Centrally located and close to bus office and places to eat. Staff were very friendly. Good bathroom. Good thick curtains.

Cons:

Hotel is a bit run down (we stayed in the off season which probably made this more apparent). View from room was of the back of ugly neighbouring buildings.

Battambang is a lovely city with lovely people.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They supplied an electric kettle and cup when I asked for them and then took me to where I could buy teabags.

Cons:

I would like to be able to leave the aircon on so that the room is cool on my return.

Cons:

There was no option to get breakfast at the hotel even for extra price. I was there during holiday season when many restaurants closed down, and while I was able to find a place to eat, the hotel staff were unable to help with this information.
