This is a shared house, The room has no lock or TV or coffee/Tea facilities in it. We met the owner, who was very nice, he did say we could use the kitchen , but we felt uncomfortable doing that. This is a new build and the walls are very thin, we could hear them in the kitchen and it seemed very loud

There was no way to lock our door, when we were in or out.
The shower silicone was a little stained with mould

No lock on internal door, so room not secure, also slight smell in room. Odd experience arriving & leaving.

Be very careful when booking this property, as it has an extremely strict check-in cutoff. If you arrive after their limit, even if you inform them in advance, they will not let you in. I sent my estimated arrival time at 8 AM, which was after the time stated in their policy, and exchanged several messages with the host during the day. At no point was I told that they would refuse entry after a certain hour due to having no staff available (very concerning given the lack of keys in the doors too as per the other reviews).

As a result, I arrived to find the door locked and no one there to help or answer the phone. I was left outside in the middle of winter with nowhere to go, especially since the trains had already stopped running and every nearby hotel was fully booked.
The next day, the host simply marked me as “no show” and messaged me saying, “If you check the check-in policy we do not honor check in after 10pm as there will be no one available after that time to assist check in.” This lack of clear communication and support made for a very distressing experience.
