Busy and chaotic

Maybe the location because it's very central but that meant chaos and taxi could not get any closer

Cons:

I hated the elevator constantly busy and stopping at each floor every single time. Would take me ages to go down from floor 10. I hated how busy the breakfast room was in the morning basically since it opened, until they stopped serving. There would be a cue outside minutes before they started serving. I guess this was because breakfast was offered to any guest without needing to pay extra for it. It was just too busy and not enjoyable at all. Food was mainly savoury and there wasn't much choice of sweets and pastry. Coffee not good at all.

My second stay at this hotel. I hope to stay a third time.
Pros:

Are you hoping to be in central Kyoto, near Kawaramachi station, shopping and Nishiki Market? A short walk to Gion? Are you hoping to get a small room and a free breakfast for a great value? This is your place. Also enjoy the hotels in-house onsen bath, and nightly welcome drinks with several sake options to try out, and other beverages.

Cons:

I am six foot three. The rooms are small...but pretty standard Japanese value hotel small. So once you realize small is typical, this is normal. I would pay an extra $5-10 a night for a super comfy bed, these are just okay. Again fairly common Japanese "firm" mattress.

Pros:

En general súper valor por tu dinero, está céntrico, tiene buenas amenidades, el onsen, el desayuno, te dan pearks de skincare súper buenos, tienen grandes detalles como paletas heladas gratis, las happy hours por la tarde gratis. Hasta un lugar especial para maquillarte, cercarte el cabello etc.

Cons:

Tal vez lo único que no me encantó fue el baño, es súper súper pequeño, difícil de gestionar jaja

Well equipped stay in the centre of Kyoto!
Pros:

Great hotel with everything we needed for a short stay! The free amenities really levelled up the stay, with access to hot and cold drinks, matcha, saké and onsen. We really appreciated the room size, friendly staff, and breakfast.

Cons:

My only suggestion would be to try and reduce single use plastics where possible with the free items.
