Beautiful, kind, life-filled people who sing and and and remind you of how good life can be. Akmal and his team/family are all such unique characters but are so special and individual. What they all have in common is how joyous and compassionate they are. The accomodation is really great, me and my girlfriend shared a hut, which we loved. We had our own toilet and 3 meals included for a brilliant price. We went on trips to Una Una, Malenge, Spearfishing and Linefishing, as well as snorkelling in coral reefs. I cannot recommend this beautiful place enough. If you’re considering it, go. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

Ik heb de hemel op aarde gevonden. Het is absoluut basic; electra op avonduren, geen warm water, maar nette en schone hutten, comfortabel bed met klamboe, westers toilet.
Een grote gemeenschappelijke gezellige ruimte.

Hutten liggen direct aan het strand. Elke dag wordt strand schoongemaakt. Vanuit de hut kun je zo snorkelen naar een prachtig rif dat voor de baai ligt.
Maar achter ook 2 paden via jungle naar 2 afgelegen baaien.

Er wordt meer dan heerlijk gekookt. Veel verse gevangen vis, maar met eetwensen wordt rekening gehouden.

De familie en vrienden die helpen zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en helpen met alles.

Wir hatten eine unglaublich tolle Zeit mit der Familie und den anderen Reisenden. Es hat sich ein wenig nach Zuhause angefühlt. Die Familie empfängt dich, als wärst du ein Teil davon. Das Essen war das beste was wir in Indonesien gegessen haben. Rundum hat einfach alles gepasst.

Our stay at Pondok Lestari was incredible. The family who runs the accommodation is extremely kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. The food was very good, and one of our favorite experiences was going fishing every afternoon and then enjoying the fish we caught for dinner.

There is a beautiful coral reef right in front of the property, perfect for snorkeling, although in some areas the water can be quite shallow at low tide. The beach feels completely private, peaceful, and very cozy.

A special mention to Akmal, who was exceptionally friendly and took us on several amazing tours that he personally recommended. Thanks to him, we were able to discover some wonderful places around the area.

We would definitely return to this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic experience.

We spent 5 nights at Pondok Lestari and had the best time!

The bungalows are small, basic but comfortable. The food was fantastic (lots of fresh fish!) and plentiful and breakfast we were able to choose between fruit and pancakes or nasi goreng.

Akmal and his family were friendly and helped organise reasonably priced half day and full day trips (snorkelling spots, village visits and to the jellyfish lake). We even went fishing with Akmal for our dinner.

The snorkelling out of the front of the accomodation is nice, can also go spear fishing and walk to the beach nearby which we had all to ourselves and also nice snorkelling.

If you are looking for a fancy, resort-style stay then this is not the place. The bungalows are rustic, with lizards, mosquitos, only a cold water pipe for a shower and electricity limited to night time. But it is a fantastic place to stay and unwind, with great food and people. Highly recommend!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich.
ALLE waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Das Riff zum Schnorcheln war auch sehr schön.
Jelly Fisch Lake gut zu erreichen.
Sehr ruhig und entspannt.

La ubicación y las vistas del bungalow

Boendet har ett utmärkt läge med havsutsikt och en mycket väl underhållen privat vitstrand, personalen var alltid tillgänglig och hjälpsam och Pudin, som pratar perfekt engelska och har huvudansvaret för anläggningen, är en riktig encyclopedia. Vi fick en guidad tur med honom till djungeln bakom anläggningen, där hans farföräldrar bodde innan turismen kom och öborna flyttade till stränderna, och där fick vi plocka muskotnötter från farföräldrarnas före detta trädgård. Samtidigt berättade Pudin om livet på ön på farföräldrarnas tid. Mycket intressant. Pudin har också gott rykte om att vara en bra dykinstruktör. Om tiden passar kan det vara bra att skaffa sig ett dykarcertifikat medan man är på ön. Anläggningen erbjuder också båtturer till närliggande öar och byar. För oss var Pondok Lestari det perfekta boendet på Kadidiri. Funderar redan på att komma tillbaka.

Super séjour. Les repas sont délicieux, le bungalow face à la mer est confortable et la famille est adorable.

Sin duda la comida -que no el desayuno- es lo más destacable del local. En suficiente cantidad y preparada con cariño. Hay café y té a todas horas. El alojamiento está situado en una pequeña bahía de aguas cristalinas donde es posible ver vida marina, aunque el coral está totalmente destrozado. En marea baja no es nada cómodo bucear, ya que no tiene apenas profundidad.

Cute, smaller and cozy place owned by locals. Very nice food included in the price, good portions of fresh fish. Coffee and tea available, also snorkeling equipment to rent and nice tours to book. WiFi can be booked for a low price and is then absolutely sufficient. The huts are basically bathroom, bed (with mosquito net) and hammock, but what more can you need for some beach time. The staff is friendly and helpful and the beach is very clean and they pick up trash almost every day. Doesn't give you resort luxury but an authentic Island vibe for a good price :)
