Perfect!
Pros:

Lovely and clean and so close to everywhere . It was great hearing the church bells on Sunday .

Pros:

The location is unbeatable. However, Wismar is so small that any hotel in the old town is ideally situated.

Cons:

There is no lift and since there is a restaurant downstairs, I had the faint smell of fatty food in my room in the evenings.

Cons:

For registration I had to pass by the Restaurant. This was a bit uncomfortable. Nevertheless the location is perfect and the room was basic but clean.

Enjoyed Wismar and its famous Market Place and this hotel of character
Pros:

Quirky historic building in excellent central position . Restaurant attached , which served very
good soup . We could sit at tables outside and watch the world go by .

Cons:

our room on the second floor was only accessible by three long and steep staircases !

central and good air condition friendly and helpful staff
wine collection is good foods are delicious and fresh

the staff could not talk in english. communication skills bad
