Our stay at Gentle Hide Designhotel was wonderful from beginning to end.

We arrived on a rainy day and were having a bit of trouble figuring out the parking arrangements. Before we even had a chance to worry, Vivian from the hotel staff came outside carrying two umbrellas, helped us with our luggage, and even carried one of our bags across the street for us. She then patiently explained the parking options and made us feel welcome from the very first moment. That level of care set the tone for the entire stay.

The hotel's location is excellent. It is only about a six-minute walk to Getreidegasse and the heart of Salzburg's Old Town, making it easy to explore the city on foot while staying in a quieter area.

The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options to choose from each morning.

What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. Every team member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. Their warmth and professionalism made a lasting impression on us.

After we left, we realized that we had forgotten two rain jackets in the hotel's storage cabin. The team contacted us and even offered to ship them internationally, which speaks volumes about their commitment to guest service.

As a final touch, when we checked out, we were given a small basket of delicious butter cookies for the journey home. It was a simple gesture, but one that perfectly reflected the thoughtfulness and hospitality we experienced throughout our stay.

We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Gentle Hide Designhotel to anyone visiting Salzburg.

I loved the hotel ambience, the helpful and friendly staff, the welcome drink, the free home-baked sweets between 2-3pm, the unlimited single shots of espresso, the breakfast spread and last but not least the comfy beds 🙌

The breakfast was a wonderful variety of items plus made to order eggs was an option we took advantage of. We especially liked that they had a lengthy window to eat as we had a little one with us who liked to sleep in.

Superputziges Hotel, von vorne nur 2 Fenster breit. Heißt aber auch, dass fast alle Zimmer nach hinten rausgehen und trotz der sehr zentralen Lage super ruhig sind. Personal ist wahnsinnig nett, alles sehr sauber, Betten super bequem, Frühstück auch mal was anderes als sonst, aber alles sehr lecker. Einzig das offene Bad im Zimmer muss man mögen (WC ist getrennt), steht aber bei der Buchung dabei und es gibt auch andere Zimmer, welche das Bad abgetrennt haben.

Das Hotel war ein absoluter Traum, die Lage für ein Besuch in Salzburg ist perfekt. Das Personal ist unfassbar freundlich, das Frühstück ist wirklich sensationell - tolle Qualität der Speisen und reichlich Auswahl. Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel, habe selten in so einem gemütlichen Bett geschlafen. Ein Rund-um tolles Hotel für ein Besuch in Salzburg! Sehr zu empfehlen!
