Unacceptable cleanliness and maintenance — we left immediately without staying a single night.
Pros:

Unfortunately, there was nothing positive about our experience. We left the property immediately after seeing the condition of the room and bathroom.

Cons:

We arrived on 20 October 2026 at approximately 9 PM, expecting a clean and reasonably maintained room for our five-night stay. Unfortunately, we were shocked by the poor hygiene and maintenance standards.

The bathroom was particularly concerning. The shower curtain was extremely dirty and stained, with what appeared to be mould. The shower area was visibly dirty and deteriorated, and several surfaces and fixtures showed signs of damage and poor maintenance.

The overall condition was unacceptable to us, and we did not feel comfortable or safe staying there. We left immediately without using the room or spending a single night at the property.

Because it was already late in the evening, we had to urgently find alternative accommodation for the same five nights, resulting in significant unexpected expenses.

We contacted the property, provided photographic evidence and requested a refund, but the matter was not resolved. Booking.com subsequently informed us that they had been unable to reach an agreement with the property.

This was an extremely disappointing and stressful experience, especially after arriving in Brisbane for our holiday. Based on what we personally experienced, we cannot recommend this accommodation.

Pros:

The only thing I like about this place is the girl at the reception who helped us to check in early as we were really tired.
Other than that, everything was way below standards.

Cons:

The building was understandably old....but it was gross. Everything was just simply gross. Pictures don't justify the real image of this place. Shower panel was disgusting.... Wash basin tap was gross to touch and was also broken. Blinds were broke. Roaches in the room. No cutlery in the kitchen area. There was this horrific smoke smell in the entire hallway.

A great spot if your wanting private room/bathroom for cheap
Pros:

Reasonable facilities, enough parking if you get there a little early, great location most major areas are easily accessible through waking and or public transport.
Kind and efficient staff along with a great value for $, can’t find many other places that you get your own private room + bathroom for such a low price, along with the great location this is my go to whenever I’m looking to stay in Brisbane for cheap.

Cons:

No major complaints, it’s pretty much exactly what I’d expect for the price.

Bad time.

Cons:

The room was okay, but having an unknown person inside my room when I returned is completely unacceptable. I had thousands of dollars of belongings inside, and this could have ended very badly.

I contacted the hotel about this serious security issue and haven’t received any response whatsoever.

I don't care how it happened—guests should be able to leave their room without worrying about strangers having access to it. Extremely disappointing

The young lady that served was delightful and accommodating.

Cons:

The accommodations were, garishly, sub par. Rubbish, cigarette smell and mould everywhere. Dirty sheets, walls, pretty much everything. Bugs, exposed wiring and outlets, etc
