Pros:

La ubicación es absolutamente perfecta. Te caes de la cama y estás en el corazón de la Royal Mile y a 2 minutos del Castillo de Edimburgo. Muy buen desayuno tipo buffet. Habitación amplia y cama cómoda. Muy buena insonorización.

The men at the front desk were exceptionally nice and helpful.

Cons:

The bed was much harder than most hotel beds I have slept on. The price was quite steep for the size of the room and the lack of breakfast.

The front desk staff and location make this an unbeatable choice.
Pros:

This location was fabulous, literally steps from the main church and meet ups for all our tours. It was also great to have laundry facilities after coming from another city.

Cons:

It seemed like cleaners did come to our room but they cleaned the bath but did not make up the bed or give us fresh towels. We did leave the towels on the bed because we rushed out to go on a tour but it seemed to strange to clean the bathroom but not replenish supplies.

Overall we loved staying there as the location is perfect ‘ walkable to everything in old town. Staff was very attentive

Location is excellent. Love the laundry feature. Staff is friendly

Cons:

The rooms are a little run down. Don’t offer room service e eryday unless you ask. Breakfast options are very limited & don’t serve any hot breakfast.

Stairs - even though there is elevator in each floor , there are stairs to get to Rooms.
No bathroom or slippers provided. Tv wasn’t working and when asked to fix , they didn’t come to room.

Great to stay in the Old Town
Pros:

The location is just perfect and convenient, the rooms are nicely decorated and most of the members of the staff are super friendly and helpful, Ashley and Dominic were great and the guys at the breakfast area as well kind and friendly all the time, we had very nice time at the breakfast with out little baby.

Cons:

Well, it is not that I didn't like it, but they have a different kind of policy from standard hotels, and you really have to read the details. For example, when booking, they offer a baby cot. Still, they do not confirm that you will get it (because it is the policy); it is, according to them, subject to availability at the time of arrival, which, for me, makes no sense to go and wait to see if there is gonna be a bed for the little ones. At the end, there was no trouble at all, and we enjoyed our stay.

Pros:

The location and view from our rooms was lovely. The room was clean and the temp was very comfortable and quickly adjustable. The staff were responsive.

The cost was quite high for the value. It was nice but not exceptional. The rooms did not feel like "apartments" or suites, they were small and even a little cramped. And although the beds and linens were nice, the room needed maintenance (the fan in the bathroom did not work, the caulking was split and stained, etc). And the breakfast was disappointing. You are paying for the location for sure - which is wonderful. But there are a lot of hotels along the royal mile and my guess is you could find a much better value.

Wanted to stay for weeks it was so good.
Pros:

Absolutely gorgeous renovated old hotel on the Royal Mile but a few buildings away. Suite was wonderful, hotel very quiet, staff wonderful, breakfast fantastic. Would have loved to stay longer.
