The location was great and it was quite and clean.
I am ok with a small room but our bed was maximum 1,4m and it was soo small that it was almost impossible to sleep with two people. For this insane price, sleeping in a tiny bed in the heat, was not ok. We barely slept.
Der Check-in wahr besonders einfach. Auch wenn man es nicht gewohnt ist, keinen Schlüssel oder eine Keycard zu erhalten.
Die Unterkunft wahr sauber und das Zimmer wurde täglich hergerichtet.
Sehr lieb wahren die Kleinigkeiten die es direkt im Zimmer gab, wie Kaffee, Tee und kleine Süßigkeiten.
Die Lage ist gut, es ist alles zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Die Wände im Bad wahren mit Schimmel überzogen. Leider ist uns dies erst in der früh am ersten Morgen aufgefallen. Andernfalls hätten wir um ein anderes Zimmer gebeten. Insgesamt müsste das Bad unserer Meinung nach renoviert werden. Das gebrochene Waschbecken fanden wir nicht so schlimm, eher die nicht verfugten Ecken, die schmutzigen Fugen, der Kaltwasserhahn unter dem man sich die Hände nicht waschen konnte, da er zu nahe am Waschbecken wahr und die Toilette, die nicht zuverlässig funktioniert und einen abgenutzten Sitz aufweist.
Zudem hatten wir den Eindruck, dass es im Zimmer nach kaltem Rauch gerochen hat.
Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera n° 7 che è in semi-interrato. I letti sono molto comodi e la qualità del sonno è eccellente. Le immagini delle sole camere sono veritiere. Molto apprezzate bevande e snack a disposizione.
Situato in un quartiere tranquillo e molto silenzioso.
La pulizia è molto da migliorare o almeno non adeguata per come siamo abituati noi italiani (probabilmente la moquette non aiuta)
La moquette non è pulità e c'è umidità in ogni ambiente.
Il bagno pulito, ma con un legno che copriva i tubi neanche levigato e con illuminazione bruciata (non illuminato a sufficienza) e nessuna spina funzionante. Non si poteva asciugare i capelli in bagno.
Il giardinetto fuori non curato e sporco.
Rapporto qualità prezzo non adeguato.

Beautiful townhouse in a quiet but central part of Edinburgh, away from the chaos but in walking distance of many lovely sights and venues. Great communication from staff. Very comfortable and clean bedroom.
Would be great to have a bar fridge in the room for snacks, drinks etc. Entry to the building and rooms is via a keypad and heavy doors which are both loud enough to wake a light sleeper whenever another guest comes into the building.
I appreciate the house and its location. I also prefer staying in smaller establishments rather than large hotels and am pleased to support small businesses..
The hotel feels overpriced for what it offers. The walls could benefit from a fresh coat of paint, and the carpeting is either worn out or should be replaced altogether. The furniture appears outdated and weathered, lacking charm due to its low quality. The linens and bathrobes are synthetic, coarse, and itchy, each bearing large cautionary tags warning of their flammability. The entire establishment has a pervasive smell of chemical cleaning agents combined with a persistent aura of incense, creating an overwhelming scent. The host was friendly enough but seemed somewhat distant and reserved, giving me the sense that I was more of an inconvenience than a welcomed guest.
On a side note I was frustrated that the hotel refused to offer a cancellation despite paying extra for flexibility. I attempted to cancel within the 24-hour window, but was denied due to the time difference between the US and UK. It was just 20 minutes past midnight, less than 24 hours from my original booking time. Clearly, they were eager to secure the reservation and not accommodating their guests.
Close to centre town, cute comfortable furnishings, extra fluffy towels!
Nice boutique hotel in a good location. Easy to walk to both old and new town and a short walk to the tram. There’s also a lot of eateries nearby. The bed is comfy and water pressure in shower is OK. Room size is good.
Only thing is quite warm in summer but two fans were provided in the room. It’s room only so no other facilities and there isn't really a common area.
The location is ideal. It is a short walk into the centre of Edinburgh and the street itself has all the Edinburgh charm. It was quiet during the evenings with plenty of nice restaurants and cafes to enjoy. We left with a sense of how it would feel to live there.
The owners were friendly, very accommodating and overall we had a fantastic time during our visit. We would definitely stay again next time with visit the city.
There was no main plug socket in the bathroom and the fire alarm in the room was quite sensitive (hair curler set this off). That being said, the owner was very understanding with this and it is preferable for the alarms to be this way.
