Pros:

The location is great if you need to catch a flight in the morning or if you land late in San Jose and need a place near the airport. The garden with the pool is beautiful and a nice place to relax. Good breakfast, with some simple vegan options too.

Cons:

You need a car or a taxi ride to reach the hotel.

Okay, but not great.
Pros:

The room was clean and the staff was noce. The grounds were pretty. Food was okay, but not great and overpriced. I liked that they had a pool table and also liked the comforter.

Cons:

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. Additionally there were not blackout curtains and the room was bright all night. There was no noise barrier and even with ear plugs I could hear the planes, the busy road, and people in the room nect door. They gave hand wash in the shower and did not provide proper toilet paper, instead opted tononly provide paper towels which was horrible. Additionally, the room wasn't properly sealed which allowed mosquitoes in which was unpleasant. Additionally the pool was dirty.
