It was nice considering just sleeping few hrs
Pros:

Ok well first booked wrong hotel 🤣Adelaide I booked Glenelg but the lady was so nice to we left luggage in Adelaide parked car then went out midnight we grabbed everything and went to Glenelg funny now but not then 😂

Cons:

We got there big room huge but Glenelg Stamford need to do revamp it getting old. Clean lovely people front desk

Disappointing.
Pros:

Reception staff and breakfast staff were very good.

Cons:

Been staying at this place for 20 years on and off, and have sent many interstate and overseas friends there. Will not be recommending this anymore. Big decline in cleanliness of carpets and dowdy looking. Always book a city view room and generally happy with that…but given a 4th floor room with dirty windows, that was a carpark view…..expected to pay same rate for THAT! The Grand is no longer grand and charges high prices. We can pay the same at the Intercontinental in the city.

Comfortable in a good location
Pros:

Good location. View was ok however we were on level 4 which restricted the view somewhat.

Cons:

Coffee cups were not cleaned which meant we had to use the glasses for our 2nd morning. I assume that the cleaner missed them and that this is not their general practice.

ive stayed there a couple of times lately and the standard is going down hill. Meals were a joke, the voucher you are supposed to get doesnt always come. Breakfast is too late for business people. The rooms stink. It was a great hotel in the past

Great location, beachfront at Glenelg, right near restaurants and the convenience of Jetty Road. We enjoyed our stay. The king city view room was a good size, clean and comfortable bed.

Pigeons in the bar area and stuff falling from the rafters .

Good location and great views but in need of a little uplift for the price

Location and views were great, bathroom was renovated, parking available (but expensive at $30pn), bed was large.

Cons:

The place is starting to show its age, revolving doors no longer in use, wall paper lifting, carpets in corridor worn out, chair in room with missing buttons, and a cupboard shelf that isn’t secure. The TV is old enough to not have Netflix and their streaming service from the mobile just didn’t work no matter how many times I tried so I didn’t use it.
And watched on my device instead. Worst part is that we had a beautiful view and some lounge chairs (dirty and worn) to sit and enjoy but the view had no decent coffee meaning we had to leave the room to go and have coffee elsewhere. Most hotels now put Nespresso machines in the room not instant coffee, that let you enjoy the space more.
