April 18-19we stayed in this property and no electricity for whole night

Cons:

We stayed for one night at Gardenia (Voya Home) in Munnar. There was no electricity the whole night and the generator was also not working. We informed the property at night but the issue was not resolved. We could not sleep and the stay was very uncomfortable. Since basic facility like electricity was not provided, we request a full refund for this booking. Please help resolve this

Overall for the price the property was not worth it at all. Too isolated, expensive and unclean
Pros:

The wait staff at their restaurant was really nice and they really helped to make the best of the situation.

Cons:

- Cleanliness ( Room Service was tardy all they did was change the sheets, no cleaning or dusting, bathrooms weren’t cleaned)
- Location is not that great it is in Anachal about 12-15 minutes from the town, the only way to make it there is to take a very expensive taxi/auto or rent a car but even then the roads aren’t easily accessible or drivable
- There are no eateries nearby and the hotel only has dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was decent and fairly priced but the dinner menu was very limited, did not taste good and way too expensive for the quantity and the taste.

Comfortable stay
Pros:

Impeccable service. Helpful, well-behaved staff. Nice pool. Good amenities.

Cons:

Non-availability of food. They provide buffet breakfast upon payment. Lunch and dinner are not provided. For those who check in unaware, it is a predicament because it is quite a trip to a place for food. But if you plan ahead and carry a parcel back to the resort, that solves it.
