Some of the decor needs some attention.
good staff, friendly and knowledgable. Raw bar meal was refunded. Comfortable room and good breakfast. Excellent location for getting out and about in Dorset and the New Forest.
Customer lift not working for a week. View out of window onto flat roof - roof which needs cleaning. Had a bar meal which was raw, sent back and still raw (refunded). Parking - awful, not enough parking and very, very expensive. Parked on the road and got a parking fine, but there were no other options due to works on the cliff face.
The hotel overlooks the ocean, and you can sit in the bar/cafe all day watching the waves if the weather isn't suitable for going outside. They had a live Jazz band in the adjacent hotel restaurant on our second night which was nice to listen to from the bar area. The rooms were well kept and the food was good. Food prices were quite8 reasonable. The bed was comfortable.
There are several restaurants and a convenience store within 5 minutes walk, as well as the beach.
The air-conditioning did not work on our second night, which meant a very poor night's sleep. We woke at 3am, and had to hold the door open to get a draft into the very warm room.
We booked the hotel for our anniversary as we had heard that it had a lovely heated outdoor pool but unfortunately this was inaccessible for the duration of our stay despite reception advising us it would be open. This was the main allure we had for booking this hotel, unfortunately.
Accessable parking was excellent. The accessable room right by the lift was great . The food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a stress free holiday.

Paid for parking and still got a parking fine, so now currently at £115 to park. I need to fight the parking park to stop the fine.
