⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Stay ! Amazing Location and Exceptional Staff!
Pros:

I had a fantastic experience at Claude Hotel in Singapore! The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city, with plenty of great restaurants, cafés, and attractions nearby.

What truly made my stay special, though, was the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. Their warm hospitality and professionalism made me feel right at home.

Highly recommended, and I will definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay for a few nights, helpful and polite staff. Would stay again
Pros:

Situated on a quiet side street. Old style on the outside but very modern inside with modern rooms. Good selection of eating places near the hotel, Maxwells only a short distance. Not far from Outram Park mrt and also Chinatown mrt. The staff were lovely and so helpful to us. Stored our luggage before checkin and also after checkout allowing us freedom to look round. The staff also arranged an early check in for us as soon as the rooms had been cleaned which was very welcome after and early flight arrival. Would stay again.

Cons:

Knew that the rooms were small when we booked but for two people these are only really suited for short stays.

Hotel encantador en una ubicación fantástica.
Pros:

La comodidad, los detalles y el buen gusto de la habitación.
La ubicación es perfecta, en una zona adyacente a Chinatown, pero tranquila. Rodeado de restaurantes y cafés con estilo.

Really nice staff
Pros:

The place is fantastic, but it is just for two people. We were two at the beginning, but then an extra friend joined us, and it was too tight.

Cons:

There was no room for three because we wanted to stay longer. Also, a coworking area would be nice too. I had to work in the laundry area, haha!

Schönes, modernes Hotel in super Lage. Holt aus kleinem Raum das Beste raus.
Pros:

Sehr gute und praktische Lage. Zimmer mit neuwertiger Ausstattung und sehr smart genutztem Raum.

Cons:

Es war sehr hellhörig. Mein kleines Zimmer hatte eine Verbindungstüre und 2 Türen nach draußen und man konnte wirklich alles hören, was draußen/im anderen Zimmer passiert ist. Ich hatte extra ein Zimmer mit Fenster gebucht, allerdings waren diese von Jalousien und Fensterläden weitestgehend abgedunkelt, sodass die Fenster nicht sonderlich viel gebracht haben.

Pros:

Die Lage ist perfekt, 2 MRT in direkter Nähe (Outram und Maxwell) ... somit 5 MRT-Linien zur Auswahl (Anreise über Ourram am Besten) .... absolute neu, sauer und hyper modern .... das deluxe für einen Einzelreisenden wunderbar.... genug Platz, Koffer unters Bett ... passt ... alle Vorzüge wie beschrieben (Wasserkocjrr etc.) ... und das Rumpeln der MRT - im 2 Stock ein absolut sanftes Brummen .... wer damit ein Problem hat, weiß ich nicht! Glatte Empfehlung - ich war vor dem Zurückgehen noch im.Maxwell Hawker Center auf ein oder 2 günstige (,8S$) Bier .... es war dort einfach toll .... gerne wieder

Tolle Unterkunft mit perfekter Lage zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel, Hawker Center, Chinatown und Innenstadt. Hotelmitarbeitende waren sehr freundlich und das Hotel war sehr komfortabel und schön eingerichtet. Perfektes Hotel um Singapur zu erkunden.

Modern and well-designed room, but with disturbed rest
Pros:

Well-designed modern-looking room with everything I needed, with complimentary minibar with local cookies. Strong wifi. Friendly and helpful staff. I like that they had several promotions and deals with shops in the vicinity.

Cons:

Strong vibration feeling and sound at night and in the morning due to underground MRT. Also, aircon seemed to be non-inverter type so it blew warmer and colder air in cycles, so I couldn't rest well. Shower cubicle had a bit of drainage/damp smell. TV didn't seem to have screen mirroring function, would be nice if it was available.

Nice and well equipped room but very crammed and noisy; bad charging practice
Pros:

Central location on a very scenic street lined with colonial style buildings; plenty of places to eat in the neighborhood including a couple of good vegetarian restaurants within walking distance. The small room has everything you need (except a working fridge). Front desk staff were nice.

Cons:

What this hotel irritated me the most was that they debit your card several weeks before check-in date without warning, just to confirm your card is working; booking.com only tells you after the fact. Bad luck if your card does not have enough Singaporean dollars and the deposit needs to be deducted in a different currency at a poor exchange rate and with a conversion fee. They do return the deposit after you pay your room rate on arrival, but the amount has to be converted back into your own currency and you lose money again in that process. All of that means you end up paying a lot more than the stated room rate and the hotel doesn't think this is their problem. The fact that they charge the deposit without warning also means you may suddenly find your card without any money left and your normal transactions don't go through. All of these issues could have been avoided if the hotel had the courtesy of advising guests before they deduct the deposit to give the guests time to transfer enough Singaporean dollars to their card beforehand.

In terms of the room itself, it is very noisy at night (loud music from the street and rumbling noises from the subway trains). The room is extremely crammed, the small space is entirely filled by a large bed (excessive for a single traveller). Forget about inviting a friend over during the day as there is barely any space in the room to stand let alone sit down, not to mention the semi transparent shower. There is what looks like a fridge under the bed but it is not switched on (and the switch is not somewhere obvious), so it is more like a tiny cupboard.
