Great hotel surrounded by mountains!
Pros:

Loved this hotel in heart of Grindelwald! Great facilities especially the spa & outdoor pool with perfect views of the surrounding mountains!! Morning breakfast was wonderful & had a wide selection of both hot & cold options, including a made to order omelette station!! Great staff who were always helpful & friendly. Highly recommend this hotel, only wish I could have stayed longer

Sehr gutes Hotel. Absolute Empfehlung. Auch super toll für Motorradfahrer.
Pros:

Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Speisen im Restaurant ebenfalls. Sehr freundliches und serviceorientiertes Personal. Komfort der Zimmer und die Lage / Aussicht auf den Eiger sind toll.

Cons:

Insgesamt sehr gut. Wir hatten eine Junior Suite. Alles top, bis auf den Umstand, dass man vom Bett aus kein Fernsehen schauen konnte.

Great location; backward room location.
Pros:

The location was excellent / close to train, First gondola and to town. Easy parking access. Staff was neutral in terms of friendliness on a Swiss scale. We were in an awkward adjacent building reached by a less than clean hallway and necessary outdoor crossing exposed to the construction site. Dark at night with difficulty to find the unmarked, hidden light switch not motion activated.
Great breakfast and Eiger balcony view. Would look into to other 4/5 star options in Wengen or Grindelwald for next visit.

Cons:

Misleading photos on Booking.com. Renovated rooms with updated furnishings were shown. Arrived at Hotel and they gave me a room which hadn't been updated since the 90s. Terrible! We had to cancel our stay and find another hotel. Do not trust the photos online!

Hair in the bathtub and 3 pieces on my pillow upon arrival. Unsanitary!

Very friendly and professional team; great breakfast and delicious meals (including gluten free pizzas); wonderful views from the peaceful garden and pool.

Cons:

Construction work going on which was a bit noisy and spoiled the view from one room but stopped early evening.
