Pros:

The pub is set in lovely rural surroundings with beautiful walks on the doorstep .

Cons:

Sadly we were so disappointed the room was filthy dirty, mould on pillows, Dirty smelly carpets and bathroom floor. No soap or hand wash in the bathroom. Cannot stand in the bath to have a shower as it has a sloping roof.

We had a great few days at Amberley Inn and would stay there again.
Pros:

Great location with good access to all places in the Cotswolds and right by the wonderful common where the cows and horses roam free during the summer. Lovely old building, lovely beer garden around the property. Breakfast was well presented and very tasty. Good choice of items with the full English. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Pleasant and helpful staff, thank you to the lovely Jennifer in the dining room, who was very attentive at breakfast! Dog friendly!

Cons:

Room a bit dated, but clean and tidy. Dining room was quite small and felt a bit overcrowded when all the tables were in use at breakfast.

Location was excellent, lovely views. Lovely buildings. Pub was very good and very clean. Staff were really nice. Breakfast was excellent. Shop nearby in the church was really nice.

Cons:

There was nowhere to hang clothes in the bedroom or the bathroom. As there was not room for a wardrobe some hooks on the walls and doors would be very useful to hang clothes on. Every thing else was very good.

The staff were very nice, friendly, and welcoming, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, there were several issues with the property and room that made our stay disappointing.

The property does not have proper stair-free access, and my parents had to climb two flights of stairs with heavy luggage to reach the room. This was not mentioned anywhere in the hotel description, which would have been important information to know in advance.

The room was also not properly cleaned. There were hairs everywhere, including on the bed sheets and pillow covers, which made us question whether the room had been cleaned properly after the previous guests.

The rooms were very basic, and no fans were provided. The suite became extremely hot and uncomfortable, particularly at night.

Overall, while the staff were friendly and helpful, the cleanliness, accessibility, and lack of basic amenities made this a disappointing stay.

Pros:

Our room was absolutely lovely, with a spacious bathroom, a bathtub and a window overlooking the garden. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. The location is peaceful and very convenient for exploring the Cotswolds, with excellent value for money.
The hotel has a pub, and we had dinner in the garden, which was a fantastic experience. There is also free parking. The breakfast was very good, with a hot continental option.
Highly recommended!
