Pros:

We stayed for a night, nice house, shared kitchen and lounges to relax.

Cons:

We stayed in the budget family room. Comfy beds. beddin and towels are provided at a reasonable price.
Private bathroom was outside of the room and quite small.

Needs a lot of work.
Pros:

The ethos behind this place is admirable, and the owner was really nice. The shared kitchen is well kitted out (although not clean, and we had no idea there was one, this needs to be listed more explicitly). Good location for walking Speyside Way, but please see other comments for down sides...

Cons:

Our room was not clean - there was dried toothpaste in the unwashed sink, and dirt on the shelves above it. The floor(s) didn't appear to have been hoovered. The shared facilities (toilet + shower) were in very poor condition: dirty, shower curtain too short so floor flooded when used, gaps in the laminate flooring. The old towels shed bits of fluff onto everything. The kitchen was not clean, and had things like paints and solvents and DIY kit in it. No clear system for food storage, so there were mouldy foods on shelves. Messy library space with vacuums and boxes everywhere. I hate to be so negative, and do appreciate what the place is aspiring to, but it was well below the standard of a hostel, especially for that price. We were really disappointed.

Great place, make sure you book the right room
Pros:

Great place if you are looking for a quick place to stay. Understand the key target audiance is young travelers and the armed forces from time to time.
We had booked the budget rooms unknowingly for our family. The shared bathrooms and toilets were well maintianed and clean. However the toilet had no lock to lock it from inside. Would really appreciate if its fixed.
Has a huge kitchen to cook, if you plan to cook food.
Friendly and helpful staff.

Would definitely recommend if you are just looking for a place to sleep at night

Forces Manor is een verblijfplaats die huiselijkheid uitstraalt.
Pros:

Tony heeft gezorgd voor een heel warm ontvangst. We voelden ons heel welkom en op ons gemak.
Forces Manor is een heel mooi initiatief en een gezellig onderkomen op een prachtige locatie aan de Cairgnorms. Het huis is heel gezellig en om te wandelen zit je meteen in de bergen.

Cons:

Niet overal even hygiënisch. Maar zeker oké!

Spoločenská miestnosť

Cons:

Nedostatočná čistota.
Nepovysávaná podlaha, špinavé postele, prach.
Kuchyňa by si zaslúžila deep cleaning.
Majiteľ mal psa, ktorý mal prístup do kuchyne a k odpadkom, ktoré aj následne rozniesol po priestoroch.
