Best place to stay on Speyside - I think so.
Pros:

A total wow - comfy , cosy, warm , and a hugely interesting amount of military memorabilia. So many relaxing and comfortable places to sit or eat . An amazing find with an amazing history and creator.

Cons:

Nothing - except needs a notice inside the entrance to point to the whereabouts of Rooms 1 to 5.

We had a lovely unique stay. Lovely host!
Pros:

We loved all the big commonrooms, the shared kitchen, the games to play. We loved the interior with all the army displays. We had a lovely stay and felt very welcome. Tony is a really nice guy. Would def recommend if you want to explore the area around Cairngorms.

Cons:

There is a few small details open for improvement, but we understood that they are already working on making everything more modern.

El recepcionista que nos atendió era muy amable y se notaba un buen ambiente

Cons:

Supuestamente teníamos baño privado y estaba fuera y sucio. Solo nos dieron sábanas bajeras y almohadas limpias pero los edredones había que cogerlos de una estantería y se notaba estaban sucios. La verdad que fue una noche desagradable

Une atmosphère chaleureuse.
Pros:

L’ambiance des forces armées est la marque de fabrique du Manor, comme son nom l’indique. Tout le décorum et la chaleur de l’accueil va de pair. La cuisine partagée et les salons sont très bien équipés et on s’y sent bien, comme un invité.

Cons:

La réservation via Booking des chambres « self-service » ne donne pas autant d’informations que le site (gestion des draps notamment).

Relaxed and familiar surroundings.
Pros:

Forces Manor was ideal for a group(11) military veterans to come together and catch up, eat, drink and reminisce.

The facility caters for the military community both serving and veterans, as its main focus is providing a space where they can be themselves.

Cons:

The stay wasn’t long enough. We will be booking again for next year with a longer stay in mind.

This is not a bad thing.

Els militars jubilats que se’n fan càrrec son encantadors! T’expliquen historietes i ens van convidar a veure el partit del mundial amb ells

Llit de matrimoni es sofà llit i et claves les fustes a l’esquena. A part el cobrellit feia molta pudor a brut. El labavo no era net i a la pica no t’hi pots rentar la cara perquè es minuscula

Bella posizione, cucina grande e ben fornita

Cons:

Staff assente (non abbiamo incontrato nessuno). Camera mansardata con piccola finestra che si apriva poco quindi molto calda. Alcuni consigli: nella nostra camera non erano presenti asciugamani e lenzuola, abbiamo provato a contattare lo staff tramite messaggio su booking ma senza risposta. Abbiamo scoperto solo la mattina successiva tramite un cartello in cima alle scale che andavano richiesti tramite un numero di telefono e a pagamento.
