Agréable séjour
Pros:

Superbe piscine extérieure.
Chambre propre avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Salle de bain pareil.
Petit déjeuner varié.
Personnel agréable et disponible.
Service de laundry sur place.

Cons:

Un peu excentré (à 10 minutes de trajet des restaurants) nécessaire de prendre un tuktuk/ louer un scooter.

Relaxed!
Pros:

Het lag buiten het centrum van Trincomalee waar het heerlijk relaxed was. Alles was eenvoudig met een kort ritje in een tuktuk te bereiken. De mensen waren zeer behulpzaam en aardig.

Pros:

The property was nice and clean, the swimming pool was new and well maintained.

Cons:

The properti was clean, well maintained and looked after the staff. The staff is very kind and friendly. They just want to make your staying as smooth as possible. They were even looking after my little one during breakfast. Honestly, I will recommend you to go to this place , it’s fantastic!

Rustig en mooi hotel als uitvalsbasis voor het drukkere Trincomalee
Pros:

Achter een grote poort bevindt zich dit gezellig hotelletje met zwembad en tuin. Heel vriendelijke mensen en een top ontbijt! Ideaal om van hieruit de omgeving te verkennen.

Un bon choix au calme mais encore en rodage.
Pros:

- la piscine toute neuve avec jets massants (à la demande), trop belle la nuit avec ses lumières, même si l'eau était un peu trouble.
- le calme
- le gérant très réactif, sympathique et efficace pour trouver des solutions
- le geste commercial suite à un petit problème de clim une nuit (réglé rapidement dès le lendemain)

Cons:

En fait, la piscine étant récente, le standing de l'hôtel à évoluer et ils sont encore en rodage, avec encore quelques éléments à améliorer.
- pas de service de restauration ou de snack (même si on nous a préparé sur demande un très bon repas à un prix très raisonnable le 1er soir)
- personnel de service timide et qui manque encore de jovialité et d'initiative
- vue de la fenêtre donnant sur des déchets de travaux

Du coup, le prix nous a semblé un peu élevé comparé à d'autres hôtels de même standing que l'on a eu.

A noter également qu'il est nécessaire de prendre un tuktuks pour aller sur les plages ou/et aller au restaurant.

Pros:

Fijn rustig resort, net buiten Uppuveli in Trincomalee. We konden gelijk de kamer in, ondanks dat we eerder arriveerden. Zeer schoon en tussendoor ook goed schoongemaakt. Het personeel spreekt niet veel Engels, maar ze zijn allemaal even vriendelijk. Wij kozen ervoor om elders te ontbijten en de laatste dag kregen we een ontbijt van het hotel. Super lief.

Excellent stay, made our time in trincomalee relaxing and stress free
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help with anything we needed.

The breakfast was excellent, with generous serving sizes and plenty of options to enjoy each morning, they had both western and Sri Lankan style breakfast options.

One feature we particularly appreciated was the free driver accommodation, which made our stay much more convenient. The swimming pool was exceptionally clean, and the entire resort was beautifully maintained and clearly well cared for.

We would definitely recommend this resort.

Pros:

Wir hatten ein sauberes und gutes Familienzimmer. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Die geschlossene Anlage mit dem wirklich sehr schönen Pool ist wie eine kleine Oase.

Super relaxing
Pros:

Il resort è in una zona leggermente decentrata rispetto a Uppuveli ma questo a nostro avviso è il suo punto di forza perchè è in una zona molto tranquilla ma rimane ugualmente comodo raggiungere le principali spiagge di Trincomalee: Uppuveli, Nilaveli e Sampalthivu Beach. Lo staff è stato molto disponibile e estremamente gentile. Le camere spaziose, pulite e nuove. Il bagno grande e pulito. La piscina molto bella. Abbiamo anche potuto parcheggiare la nostra macchina internamente alla proprietà. Abbiamo fatto la colazione in hotel ed è stata servita super puntuale ed era sia molto buona sia molto abbondante. Se torneremo a Trincomalee torneremo sicuramente qui, lo raccomando.

Mi è piaciuto tutto.

Comfortable and beautiful accommodation
Pros:

Very spacious room, with 2 airco's. The entire premises was beautiful and well maintained. Large pool with sufficient beds. The owner was super responsive when we had a question or asked for additional towels etc. The accommodation is just outside the busy center, and very easy to reach with tuktuk. The owner recommended a diving school; we did snorkeling and dolphin watching.

Cons:

If you stay multiple nights it would be great to have more variety for the breakfast (e.g. with egg or pancakes). The breakfast was good, but personally we would have liked different options each day.

Pros:

Das Aathi Resort hat uns wirklich überrascht, denn ist es etwas außerhalb gelegen und wirkt wie eine Oase in einer kargen Gegend. Das Personal ist äußerst zuvorkommend und macht alles möglich. Von speziellen Wünschen eines vegetarischen Frühstücks über die Verlängerung des Aufenthalts in einem anderen Zimmer bis hin zum Wäscheservice. Ein Highlight ist die sehr schön neu angelegte Poolanlage!

Uns hat alles gefallen!
