Pros:

We loved the good care of the family running the hotel. They were the most friendly and kind People we met in Sri Lanka. The breakfast is really good (a full plate of fruit, egg, bread, a Sri Lankan Special and a dessert)! Across the street is turtle beach and a few minutes walk is Mirissa Beach. The room was spacious and very clean.

Das neue kleine Hotel, das von einer Familie betrieben wird. Das Hotel ist sauber und die Atmosphäre ist familiär. Die Gastgeber haben sich wirklich Mühe gegeben und waren immer nett und freundlich. Sogar zum Frühstück wurden wir gefragt, was wir uns wünschen und netterweise hat uns die Dame lokales Essen angeboten. Wir haben uns hier wohl gefühlt. Bis zum Turtle Beach 1 min. zur Fuß. Hauptstrand ist ca. 7-10 Minuten.

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist gut, allerdings soll der Gastgeber den Frühstücksservice besser organisieren: Erstmal kam Obstteller, 10 Minuten später wurde Brot mit Butter und Marmelade samt Tee gebracht. Noch 10 Minuten warten und kommt Ei-Gericht. Und immer so schleppend.

Ganz liebe, herzliche Gastfamilie mit sehr schönen und ruhigen Zimmern. Die Lage war gut; man kam über einen kleinen Weg auf der anderen Seite der Straße direkt an den Strand. Auf dem Gang gab es kostenfreie Wasserspender, was wir super fanden. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen.

A peaceful stay at a calm and cosy place.
Pros:

We loved the house so mindfully furnished, clean and giving a sense of peace. We appreciated the most the hosting family, everyone was so kind and accommodating,that we would come back happily.

Ein fabelhafter Aufenthalt mit lieben Gastgebern

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit äußerst netten und liebevollen Gastgebern. Die Familie hat uns jederzeit unterstützt. Egal ob Scooter mieten, Tipps für Unternehmungen oder die Wunden mit Salbe nach einen Badeunfall versorgen😅 Das Frühstück, die Lage und Sauberkeit der Unterkunft ließen keine Wünsche offen. Alles in allem eine perfekte Unterkunft für unsere Reise.
Sogar ein kostenloses Dinner wurde extra für uns nach traditioneller Art hergerichtet obwohl wir nur mit Frühstück gebucht hatten. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!
Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – The owner and family here welcomed us very warmly and made us feel completely at home. The hospitality was exceptional - the host and the entire family are kind, loving and genuinely caring. They guided us very well and made sure we were comfortable at all times. It felt like staying with family rather than in a hotel. The rooms were very clean, well maintained and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fresh and delicious. The location was also perfect - very close to the beach, with lots of restaurants nearby, making it easy and convenient to enjoy everything around. We were extremely happy with our stay and would happily give it a 10 out of 10. We definitely look forward to returning in the future. I would recommend Tropical Inn to my friends and family without hesitation. Thank you for making our stay so special.
