Cons:

Our booking was confirmed, but the night before our arrival we were informed via WhatsApp that we would be shifted to another hotel. We accepted the change after being assured everything had been arranged.

On arrival, the new hotel had no record of our reservation. After traveling a long distance with a postoperative patient and luggage, we were left stranded in an unfamiliar city. The only room offered was overpriced, poorly maintained, and not worth the price.

Despite confirming our accommodation, Grand Silvar management failed to make any proper arrangements. An apology cannot make up for such poor management and the unnecessary stress they caused. Extremely unprofessional and highly disappointing. I would not recommend this property.

Where the property is located is not safe, the street is very dirty, small bad and it’s doesn’t look the same with the picture. Some review here saying that the place is nice is fake. I had to cancel our stay to find another place.

The memorable days at Hotel Grand Silver
Pros:

I liked their cleanliness, gentle behavior and good services. There were no cockroaches or bedbugs! That was huge relief for me as my toddler was with me. There is a dedicated kitchen with basic utensils in every room. That was a huge benefit for us to cook some freshly food for my child. The place is also very prominent and very close to Apollo Hospitals. You can also enjoy evening walk outside. The manager Haris vai is a gentleman indeed. He helped us in every possible ways and welcomed us like a family here. We really had a great time over there. If we need to come again in Chennai, I will obviously stay over in Hotel Grand Silver, inshAllah.

Cons:

They should keep more staffs to clean the rooms as man power is not enough when every room is occupied. They take time to go to the other room to clean due to the lack of man power, I felt. That's it.

Good property with all the necessities
Pros:

Reasonably located for the purpose of the visit and had all the basics

Cons:

Staff were good but seemed a bit unfriendly at first. The outside environment was subpar. If the same hotel was in a better locality it would feel a lot nicer
