단 하루의 숙박이었지만 오래 기억에 남을 만큼 만족스러운 시간이었습니다.

매니저님과 직원분들 모두 매우 친절하고 세심했으며, 여러 가지 부탁에도 늘 웃는 얼굴로 기꺼이 응대해주셨습니다. 특히 매니저님께서 직접 여러 차례 찾아와 불편한 점은 없는지 세심하게 챙겨주신 점이 인상 깊었습니다.

아름답게 관리된 정원과 화사한 꽃들, 그리고 조용하고 평화로운 프라이빗 해변도 호텔의 매력을 한층 더해주었습니다.

무엇보다 따뜻하고 진심 어린 서비스 덕분에 짧은 숙박이 더욱 특별하게 느껴졌습니다. 다음에는 꼭 더 오래 머물고 싶은 곳입니다.


A truly memorable stay, even though I was here for just one night.

The manager and staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and gracious. I had several requests during my stay, and every one of them was handled with a genuine smile. I was especially impressed by the manager, who personally checked in on me several times to make sure everything was perfect.

The beautifully maintained gardens, vibrant flowers, and serene private beach made the property feel especially charming and peaceful.

What truly stood out, however, was the heartfelt hospitality and thoughtful service. I only wish I could have stayed longer and would gladly return.

Pros:

Sehr gepflegte Anlage direkt am Strand mit eigenem Privatstrand und sehr großen Zimmern.
Das Bett war sehr bequem und man hat von einigen Bungalows einen tollen Blick auf das Meer.
Vom Restaurant aus hat man ebenfalls einen schönen Blick auf den Strand. Das Essen war lecker und relativ abwechslungsreich, aber nicht Weltklasse. Man kann hier gut entspannen.

Cons:

Das Personal an der Rezeption hat uns in keinem unserer Anliegen (Geld tauschen, Reinigung des Badezimmerspiegels, Motorrad mieten) weitergeholfen.
Keine der Aktivitäten, die auf einer Tafel angekündigt stehen hat stattgefunden. Mittags fiel für ca. 2 Stunden das Wasser aus und man konnte sich nicht einmal die Hände waschen. Das wäre mit einem Wassertank sicherlich lösbar und bei einem Hotel in dieser Preisklasse auch erwartbar.
Was wir auch etwas komisch fanden war der Angestellte, der im Restaurant immer darauf geachtet hat, das alles ordentlich ist und seine Mitarbeiter "überwacht" hat. Das kreiert eine etwas unentspannte Atmosphäre.

Séjour excellent et agréable !
Pros:

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Mandarin Resort à Zanzibar.

L’hôtel est très calme et offre une vue magnifique, avec une plage tout simplement superbe. La nourriture était bonne, variée et de qualité, avec notamment des jus de fruits vraiment délicieux.

Le personnel a également largement contribué à rendre notre séjour agréable : le staff était très gentil, accueillant et toujours prêt à aider. Mention spéciale à l’animation, qui était excellente. Pascal était d’une gentillesse impressionnante, toujours souriant et très impliqué pour faire passer un bon moment aux clients.

Un très bel hôtel pour profiter de Zanzibar dans un cadre calme et agréable. Nous recommandons vivement !

¡Estancia perfecta! ❤️ Todo el equipo es encantador y está siempre pendiente de cualquier cosa que puedas necesitar. Queremos agradecer especialmente la atención y amabilidad de los camareros, los cocineros, el dueño y, sobre todo, de Pascal. El día a día ha sido mucho más divertido y agradable gracias a sus conversaciones, su cercanía y las actividades que organizaba.

Además, el resort ofrece cada noche un espectáculo o show diferente, lo que hace que las veladas sean aún más entretenidas.

El hotel está muy limpio, las instalaciones están muy bien cuidadas y, además, se encuentra en primera línea de playa. En todo momento nos hemos sentido muy seguras, cómodas y bien atendidas.

El buffet no es especialmente grande, pero ofrece suficiente variedad y la comida está muy rica. También nos pareció un detalle estupendo que proporcionen toallas para disfrutar de la piscina.

¡Muchísimas gracias a todo el equipo por hacer de nuestra estancia una experiencia tan especial! Sin duda, volveríamos a repetir. ❤️

Rooms are not properly checked. No water in Shower. TV is not working. Wifi which is very important is very poor signal. No table for laptop or study. lights are very dim. poor lighting.

La ubicación. Una gran playa donde poder relajarse y pasear . Sin aglomeraciones.
Un hotel muy cuidado, con mantenimiento permante. Recomendable, muchísimo mejor que la zona de Nungwi...
La comida tipo bufet es ideal para elegir visualmente, y la cantidad adecuada.

Amazing stay. Definitely recommended.
Pros:

Amazing property & staff is so accommodative for any request. They have a great view of the sea right outside of the property. Food & drinks was also good. Overall it was a very wonderful stay experience.

Cons:

Room interior could have been a bit better. One glass sliding door was not opening initially. But then they fixed it. But it seems little old.

Wonderful relaxing holidays
Pros:

Mandarín resort has a wonderful location in the village, our room was in the first row by the sea so the view couldn't be better. Hanna and the personnel at the hotel are very kind, generous and service minded. The hotel is also super clean and cozy.

The internet gets weak sometimes

A truly peaceful place with a beautiful location, comfortable rooms, and very friendly staff.
Pros:

A truly beautiful place to stay, with a stunning beach and breathtaking sunsets. The rooms are spacious and offer lovely views, and the beds are very comfortable. The food is excellent, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. We had a fantastic experience and would happily return.

Cons:

The room cleaning, especially the bathroom, could have been better. There were also some persistent sellers on the beach, although not all of them.

Hotel restaurant is not that good (Poor standard all inclusive style). Noisy backup generator located next to living quarters ( better location would be to relocate it to closer to the street / parking/ reception area)

Strandhotel
Pros:

Lage direkt am Strand, bei Flut schön zum Baden, wir bekamen ein Upgrade auf einen Bungalow in erster Strandlage, da das Hotel überbucht war. Das Essen war gut, ist aber im Vergleich zu unseren anderen 4 Hotels auf Sansibar abgefallen.

Cons:

Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind renovierungsbedürftig, das Restaurant hat den Charme einer Kantine, die Restaurantterrasse ist schön gelegen.
Was gar nicht geht: Das Hotel war überbucht und wir wurden die 1. Nacht im nebenan gelegenen Hotel untergebracht. Wir reisen wirklich viel ( pro Jahr 40 bis 50 Hotels), aber das ist uns noch nirgends auf der Welt passiert.
Das Hotel ist definitiv kein 4* Hotel, es war im Vergleich zu unseren anderen Hotels am schlechtesten.
