Nga, the manager is eager to do her utmost to help/please the customers, and her two kids are so lovely and well-educated.

Cons:

We weren't aware that there was no lift, hence getting to the upper floors could be difficult for people with health (knee) issues.

Lovely views but a shame the hotel is so run down and unkept. Staff were friendly and accommodating

Cons:

The hotel was very dated and unkept - basin in bathroom leaked, aircon leaked. Sheets and towels very old - in general was poorly maintain which is a shame as it is a great location.

Pros:

I stayed here and found the price to be very good compared to the quality of the room I received. There was a slight issue with the lighting, but when I pointed it out, they fixed it almost immediately, even though it was quite late at night. The manager was very enthusiastic, which made a very good impression on me. I recommend staying here if you visit Vangvieng.

Location was great right in town and great helpful staff moved me into a better room on the second night cool view

The air con in the room was under sized so didnt work to well but they had fans

Amazing views of the mountains, sunrises and sunsets.
Pros:

I loved my room with a balcony and the most spectacular views of the mountains. I spent hours just watching the balloons and paramotors. Amazing views of the sunrises and sunsets.
It was close to many restaurants, street food and shops. About a 10 minute walk to the main town.
The free breakfast was simple but delicious. Eggs, fruit and a few other things.
The staff were lovely and friendly. They were very helpful when I was booking my tours.
I would definately come back here again.

Pros:

The location is very central and quiet, the balcony must have a very nice view but in April with the smug, the mountain view was absolutely not worth it!
Large room with everything you need.
The scooter Rental next to the hotel is great. Go directly with them.

Cons:

The breakfast.. not sure my pancake was fresh.
Like an other comment said, there is a bit of ants travelling in your room but it s ok.

Die Aussicht zur Bergseite ist superb. :-)))
Pros:

Hier kann ich ganz klar sagen, das beste ist die Aussicht zur Bergseite hin. Hatte eine Woche lang Zimmer 401 und war super glücklich. Hatte auch den ganzen Tag einfach nur auf dem Balkon sitzen können...
Deshalb auch die 9 Punkte.

Tipp1: Auf jeden Fall die Ballon-Fahrt machen. (Ich hab sie zum Abend hin gemacht, ca. 35min (war ausreichend) für 60,- Euro.)
Tipp2: Wenn die Weiterfahrt nach Luang Prabang geht, dann unbedingt mit der Bahn fahren. Das geht viel, viel schneller als mit dem Minivan über die schlechten Straßen. Und rechtzeitig um das Ticket kümmern

Unreliable organization and disappointing experience
Cons:

The host, although friendly, did not provide accurate advice regarding the tours offered, which are very commercial and far from focusing on customer enjoyment. The same applies to the van bookings, which did not respect the agreed routes and drop-off points. The rest of the staff does not speak any English and was not particularly welcoming.

Solides Hotel am Ende der Bar-Meile, ruhig gelegen aber City fussläufig erreichbar, Restaurant und Markt in wenigen Metern, sehr schöne Aussicht vom Obergeschoss, sehr hilfreiche und freundliche Inhaber
