Pros:

Accueil, situation de l'hôtel, possibilité de parquer, petit-déjeuner...

Cons:

L'essentiel dans un hôtel est de bien dormir. Et pour y parvenir, il faut un matelas confortable. Or le matelas est extrêmement inconfortable et beaucoup trop dur. Dommage, vraiment !

Hotel Locanda is situated in a nice romantic area and you can enjoy tasty coffee for a breakfast.
Pros:

The hotel Locanda is situated in a very romantic place from where you can go for nice walks. We had also a balcony with a big french window, which we enjoyed a lot. Personal was friendly and they did very nice coffee:)

Cons:

The room was simple but clean and we had so nice time there. No complains :)

Excellente nuit à Castagnola
Pros:

Situé dans un contour à l'entrée de Castagnola, cet hôtel est facilement accessible en transport public. La chambre est assez simple dans son infrastructure mais j'ai apprécié le confort du lit (ventilation en plafonnier bienvenue). L'accès par code facilite les allées et venues. Le petit déjeuner (vraiment très bien) est servi dans une petite salle également fréquentée par des locaux, ce qui donne une atmosphère plus vivante et sympathique.
L'accueil de Carolina a été parfait et elle a reçu mes remarques (constructives) avec le sourire. J'ai remarqué qu'elle mettait "la main à la pâte" également en salle, ce qui dénote le caractère familial de cet établissement, extrêmement agréable.

Cons:

Certains détails seront améliorés dans le futur (l'usure d'une coulisse de cabine de douche par ex.), mais ils n'ont en rien gâché mon séjour. Ma chambre donnant sur la route, j'ai davantage été gênée des usagers aux moteurs pétaradants, mais en fermant la fenêtre, c'était ok. De même, un lampadaire qui éclaire le passage à l'arrière de l'hôtel se reflète dans le miroir de la chambre : en baissant le store, plus de problème !
Comme j'ai le sommeil léger, la prochaine fois je préciserai ma demande pour une chambre de l'autre côté.

Das Frühstücksbrot könnte etwas besser und die Gipfeli etwas frischer sein.

A good place to base yourself for hiking in Lugano.
Pros:

A good spot for hiking (but 2.4km out of Lugano town). Breakfast was quite good and staff were friendly.

Cons:

I liked the location as I wanted to do the Olive Trail. But if you are focused on the city, it's a long walk. That being said, there are buses close by. Also, the hotel is multiple floors and no lift.

Cons:

Basisausstattung gut, aber man könnte noch eine Kaffee/Tee-Ecke machen wie üblich bei vielen Hotels, kein Föhn etc
