Would stay here again!
Pros:

Significantly higher standard of cleanliness and comfort compared to other similar accommodation we stayed at during our 10 day Scotland trip. Friendly staff, great food and service at the restaurant. Quiet rooms.

Lovely place, room very well appointed and all the staff were friendly and welcoming.
Pros:

Old stone building, very well preserved and maintained. Excellent decor throughout.

Cons:

It did get a little warm in the room but when requested a cooling fan was delivered straight away.

Great stay overall, just the spa was the issue.
Pros:

Amazing Hotel, so clean, so modern and great staff

Cons:

Advertised as having a pool but it’s a DRIVE up the road! Simply not feasible, quite a downer on the weekend. Screaming kids at the pool when no staff on duty didn’t help either when trying to relax.

Fabulous Hotel
Pros:

Amazing hotel, staff couldn't have been lovelier, came for our honeymoon and they went above and beyond to make our stay special. Really beautiful location with plenty to see nearby, great food in the restaurant, breakfast was a standout.

Leider entspricht dieses Hotel nicht einem, fünf Sterne Hotel beginnend mit dem Empfang beim Checkin war sehr unhöflich und unprofessionell war bisschen zum Frühstück, wo man Ewigkeiten warten musste und beim Abendessen gab es wenig Alternativen da leider immer wieder Gerichte nicht vorhanden waren, wobei die Auswahl dieses Restaurants sehr klein ist und dann sollte auf jeden Fall jedes Gericht verfügbar sein. Wir hatten ein 40 m² grosses Zimmer gebucht, was eigentlich in den obersten Etagen sein sollte. Laut Beschreibung Und haben dieses nicht erhalten. Des Weiteren habe ich nirgendswo ein Hinweis auf einen Indoor Pool gesehen. Noch wurde uns wie in einem Fünf Sterne Hotel üblich, die Möglichkeiten des Hotels aufgezeigt. Im übrigen wurde sich in der Öffentlichkeit untereinander vom Personal über Gäste beschwert und geredet was sehr unprofessionell ist. In jedem Zimmer liegt eine Information über das Hotel aus, wo drin steht, dass Frühstück auch auf dem Zimmer möglich ist. Wir wurden ganz erstaunt angeschaut, als wir davon Gebrauch machen wollten denn leider ist dieses eine Fehlinformation. Das Personal an sich hat sich sehr bemüht mit den Mängeln der Beschwerden umzugehen und musste dich mehrfach bei allen möglichen Leuten entschuldigen. Für uns kommt dieses Hotel nicht mehr infrage und in Zukunft würden wir definitiv ein anderes Fünfsternehotel buchen.
