Excellent Break
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent every morning during our stay. Evening Meal had an excellent range of starters, mains and dessert during our stay. Lounge, bar area was extremely comfortable. Outside courtyard was lovely for an afternoon drink.

A wonderful relaxing retreat

Everything was perfect. Our room was beautiful, the food was outstanding, the staff were all welcoming & professional.
The attention to detail is really impressive .

My husband has many food allergies, and the kitchen prepared him wonderful delicious meals.

Zimmer/ Suite sehr schön. Leider wurde vergessen, das Sofa als Bett vorzubereiten. Der Mitarbeiter beim Empfang war sehr hilfsbereit aber keine Ahnung wie man das nun lösen sollte. Am Ende brachte er uns die Bettwäsche und wir haben es selbst gemacht!
Ist ok, war allerdings für diesen sehr hohen Preis befremdlich dass dies, trotz Mail Bestätigung zwei Tage davor, „vergessen“ wurde..

Cons:

Restaurant: Das Essen an sich sehr gut. Der Rest: chaotisch! Haben bei Belegung von insgesamt 6 Tischen, 30 min gewartet bevor überhaupt jemand an den Tisch kam. Kein Wasser, keine Getränke .. nichts! Bestellung dann endlich durch... Nach nochmaligen 30 min kam der Kellner und musste nochmals alles aufschreiben- es sei in der Küche verloren gegangen!! Nach 90 min(!) kam die Vorspeise! Ein no go für ein Haus dieser Preiskategorie. Schade!

Sehr schönes Landhotel

Wir können einige schlechte Bewertungen definitiv nicht teilen. Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt als wir ankamen. Das Personal hat uns alles gezeigt und auch etwas zur Geschichte des Hotels erzählt. Das Zimmer war richtig schön und das Bett bequem. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber das möchte man ja auch, wenn man herkommt. Wir waren abends im Restaurant essen und hatten einen super aufmerksamen Kellner. Das Essen war sehr gut und ist absolut empfehlenswert. In der Bar kann man dann gemütlich den Abend ausklingen lassen. Ich fand es gerade toll, dass man morgens nicht ein riesen Buffet hatte. Es gab typisch schottisches Frühstück und man konnte sich auch einzelne Sachen wie Rührei etc. bestellen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Luxurious rooms and a peaceful Highland escape.

The drive to Dunalastair Hotel Suites from Loch Lomond is absolutely stunning and sets the tone for a wonderful stay. The hotel itself is a beautiful building, nestled in a picturesque village, and the interior has been tastefully renovated to a very high standard.

Our suite was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt luxurious while still being welcoming.

The spa option was a bit underwhelming. It's actually located at the sister hotel, around a 15-minute walk away, and it's more of a leisure facility than an on-site spa. While it has seen better days, the walk there is lovely, with beautiful views across the loch. The sister hotel itself has plenty of traditional charm, and the staff were very welcoming and happy to book us in for dinner.

A special mention goes to Rodney, the manager, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and an all-round genuinely lovely chap.

Overall, Dunalastair Hotel Suites is a fantastic place to stay in a stunning setting. The peaceful location, beautiful renovation, and spacious rooms make it an excellent base for exploring the Highlands, and we'd happily stay again.
