Superb staff and great location.
Pros:

Beautiful entrance and warm welcome. Staff are wonderful and friendly and clearly would go above and beyond. Room was comfortable, but bathroom could do with a bit of a refresh. Location superb and bar area inside and out is great. Had a meal in the bar and food was very good, fresh and excellent portions.

Cons:

Bathroom very tired in places.

Pros:

Great location, attractive looking hotel, parking, restaurant

Cons:

Check-in process very manual and impersonal.

Hotel looks better on the outside than the inside (though inside was ok).

The restaurant had a very nice Moldovan pinot Grigio on the menu.

Great staff and location
Pros:

Nice tradition hotel. The staff were great and the location is great. Also managed to park in the carpark. Food was good.

Cons:

Room was very small with no view was ok for what I needed but was relatively expensive for a single room.

Did the job but wouldn't stay again
Pros:

Great location. They have a cafe across the road where we went for breakfast as the breakfast in the actual hotel was quite limited. The lady that worked there was amazing. So friendly and helpful. Real top rated service.
We were able to park on site and use electric charges which was helpful.
Food which we had on the first evening was nice but ate out all other times as whole dining experience wasn't great.

Cons:

Staff in the actual hotel were not overly friendly. Hotel lacked personality and feeling. From the self check in, automated room key process, no one on reception, order your own food via qr code at the table and self check out on departure. We hardly saw any staff and other than delivering food to our table that was it. Not the 4 star experience expected from the hotel rating.

Appreciating it's a dog friendly hotel, couldn't escape the musty smell along bedroom corridors and in the bedrooms themselves. Bathroom had quite bad black mould. Room facilities were basic. It was clean ish but not spotless.

All in all a bit disappointed as it looks so lovely on the website.

Pros:

The room was lovely good tea and coffee making facilities, big comfy bed, easy to self check in. Parking is a little tight. Breakfast was very noce and cleanly cooked.

Cons:

The 2 bedside lights shades had clean me wrote in the dust on them, the shower hose attachment was mangled and leaked and our lights tripped in the evening when we got back from being out.

Very disappointed with the stay and not good value for money.

Dirty, carpets were very dirty, dust in fittings and fixtures, shower head fastened with tape, no complementary water in room and a small bottle from the bar was £3.95 which is very excessive. Shower tray blocked and water not draining freely. Coffee cups in room were not clean and greasy. Mattress was old and creaky and pillows were also old and out of shape.

Pros:

The hotel was exceptional. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, the food was delicious, and everything was spotlessly clean. The whole hotel had such a warm, inviting atmosphere, making our stay truly enjoyable.
My sister and I could find no fault they went above and beyond and we even had a call to ask us if we enjoyed our ride on the zip wire !

Nothing at all , there was truly nothing that disappointed us

Ok but not good value.
Pros:

Beautiful building in great location. Good breakfast.

Cons:

No reception staff self check in required. Interior a bit shabby. Beds uncomfortable and I felt I would roll off. Parking inadequate. I had one meal in the restaurant and it was very average for the high cost.
