great location, nice interior design albeit a bit worn down
the single room is really not worth it, there is no sound proofing whatsoever. I was basically forced to listen to the adjacent room's TV all night. The food in the restaurant was not good quality either, and did not look anything like the pictures they have online. Overall it was not a horrible experience, just not what I would expect from a four star hotel.

Website stated it has Doombar beer...It didn't but to be fair the Welsh Real Ale I had was rather tasty as well ☺️
Centrally located. Lovely outdoor drinking/eating area. Bar/restaurant/lounge comfortable. Well decorated. Friendly bar/restaurant staff
Too technical for check in /out. Lots of faff on downloading an app to get an E room key. Breakfast/dinner bookable online. On arrival after a 5 hour drive you just want to speak to a person on reception!!! App kept cutting out on A5 due to no signal. Frustrating. Unnecessary. Picnic lunch offered was very expensive, i would have been better off going to the coop next door. The crisps and cake were from a multi pack pre packed , bottle of unfamiliar named water and sandwich was less interesting than I’d make myself. Poor sliced white loaf and a slice of cheap ham. TERRIBLE.
Location very good. Breakfast was good. Very clean and lovely place to stay. Room cleanliness and housekeeping was excellent.
Some staff not quite as friendly as others (impatient), clearing of tables could be better.

The hotel is on the main road with very few parking spaces, so you have to drive around town till you find a spot and then drag your luggage to the hotel.
