Pros:

Beds were comfy,swimming pool was great,staff friendly .once we worked out which bus to catch it was pretty easy to get to a train station, location was good. Overall it was an exceptional place to stay

Poo in Pool Disgusting but worse was hotel response
Pros:

The air-conditioning worked, but that was about all, as everything else was poor and did not accurately reflect the image the hotel used trying to sell. STAY AWAY from this hotel, unless you enjoy swimming in poo!

Cons:

I had to lift my children from the pool, as there was poo, two huge human faeces floating around. We pressed the emergency button, but staff wouldn’t confirm they had closed the pool, and more people kept coming to bathe in the poo-l! I asked for a refund and received no response from the hotel.

You’d think someone in the hotel would have a grip on this. But you could see the classic hotel chain response- bureaucratic- nobody with responsibility. Poorly paid workers, with no clue what was going on. Even the parking is a nightmare and the lifts need cards to work, no good when you’re carrying luggage and bags.

ILLNESS- the next day my daughter was sick. I kept her off school for two days and believe it was from swimming in the poo-l. Disgusting.

Brentford is about as pretty as the pool. Avoid this hotel at all costs. AVOID!

Spacious room with a supermarket next door
Pros:

It had a pool. Modern room. Had a fridge. Spacious rooms. Good lighting. The plug didn't work, so I couldn't have a bath. The room was quite cold, and I couldn't get it warmer.

Cons:

The beds are very, very hard. I changed my room but the bed was the same. They provide mattress toppers on request, suggesting that others also complain about the bed. The pool is small, and when there are swimming lessons on, there is little space for hotel guests. There is no general lounge area by reception for sitting.

Pros:

Nice staff, lovely spacious and comfy room.

Cons:

The pool was much smaller than expected - the photos are definitely deceptive. I bought goggles to do lengths and by the time I had pushed off from one end, I was almost at the other. The facilities were lovely and clean though.
