Hotel clearly recently underwent a full refurbishment so rooms are clean, modern and spacious. Couple that with the excellent modernist architecture from the 60s, great location in the center of Almaty and a tasty breakfast, what more could you want!
We also had a brilliant room with a view of the mountains, which I'd go for.

Kahvaltı çok iyiydi. Odalar çok temiz ve genişti. Almaty de merkezi konumdaydı. Lokasyon çok iyi. Bana göre almatinin en iyi oteli diyebiliriz.

Невероятно, что в гостинице такого уровня и с такими ценами тебя заставляют ждать, чтобы проверить номер перед check-out. Буквально ждали минут 7, пока они проверяли, на самом ли деле мы не пользовались мини-баром. И только потом отпустили. Испортили все впечатление от нашего пребывания там.
Завтрак довольно скромный, тоже не стоит ждать от него чего-то особенного.
Very good breakfast……location
The pictures when i made the reservation looked nothing like the room i got. I was told that I had selected a room that was not renovated. I do not recall that in the booking process I had to request a lamp for bedside because the only lights in the room were overhead. The carpeting was worn and appeared not clean. The room was $150 per might and totally not worth it. My son , whom was traveling with me said he had stayed in better hostels.
