The host was extremely kind and friendly, welcoming. The room (especially the bed!) was very comfortable!
It was such good value to stay at this property as staying at hotels in Manhattan were way too expensive to afford!

One of the best stays around NYC!
Pros:

The room is big with private bathroom, very clean, the owner gave me everything i needed during my stay. i highly recommend for a good quality/price ratio for new york city.

Cons:

there is not a lot of supermarket/food choices around the place. a bus that takes you straight to manathan in 40 minutes is nearby the house.

It was very cozy, comfortable, clean, and well taken care of. The host was very sweet and polite and very helpful.

Cons:

The location is sketchy. The light bulbs were cold giving of a harsh white light. If the room had warm yellow light, it would be perfect

The room is clean. The mattress is comfortable. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the NY Bus Terminal, and it’s a leisurely 10-minute walk to the bus stop. The hostess is a lovely person. Every day she prepares fruit and something sweet for the guests—it’s nice when you’re getting ready to conquer New York in the morning. To be honest, it brought back memories from decades ago when my siblings and I used to spend our vacations at our grandmother’s house.
