Family Hotel Zhangjiajie

Wonderful stay and incredibly helpful hosts
I was very happy with my stay at Family Hotel. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful throughout my visit.
A special thank you to Jack, who helped me purchase tickets for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain, which made organizing my sightseeing so much easier. The gentleman who runs the hotel also drove me to the park every day, which I really appreciated. They were always ready to help with anything I needed, and I even received little cookies and treats – such a lovely touch! 😊
The accommodation offers very good value for money, and overall I had a wonderful experience here. I felt very welcome and well looked after during my entire stay.
I would definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Zhangjiajie. Highly recommended! ❤️

The hotel is located in Wulingyuan, on the northern side of Zhangjiajie, just a 7 minute ride from the North Gate of the National Forest Park.

The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. We experienced the best hospitality we've ever had in China. I would definitely return!

The owner and worker are so helpful! They helped us book nearby attractions (without any additional pricing, we checked) and gave us a lot of recommendations for which order to do activities, what times to go, etc. They went out of their way to assist us and check up on us throughout the day. Some of the kindest people we met in all of China. The rooms are right in the centre and have comfy beds and good showers. Can’t fault it really.

The hotel owners are world champions. This was my second stay at this hotel, and honestly, I can't imagine staying anywhere else in this city. The location is fantastic, and the service deserves the highest praise. When you go to Wulingyuan, you don't even have to worry about anything during your stay. Don't have tickets to nearby attractions? You don't have to worry about that. Just ask the hotel owner or one of his sons, and they'll take care of everything. They handle the impossible immediately, but miracles take a day. :)

Remember one thing: this isn't a five-star Hilton, but that's not the point. This hotel and its staff simply have soul, and the "Family" in the hotel's name isn't a sign or a cliched slogan, but a promise of how you'll be taken care of.

La posición es excelente pero sin lugar a duda, lo mejor son el propietario y sus dos hijos. Con los hijos pudimos hablar en inglés y tuvimos muchos consejos sobre las entradas al parque. También nos invitaron el último día, que teníamos tiempo, a ir a bañarnos a un río y fue una experiencia maravillosa. Pudimos hacer también un check out late porque nuestro vuelo salía por la tarde

La habitación estaba bien. El personal muy atento y agradable. Fácil de acceder a las zonas de interés.

Hotel familial avec un excellent rapport qualité prix. Nous remercions le.proprietaire, son fils et Jack pour les réservations de tickets et les conseils.

One of my favourite hotel experiences in my 2 years of travelling !!!
The beds were comfortable, the room was relatively clean, and very spacious.
Plenty of restraunt and shops around great area to access the national park.
The staff are absolutely brilliant they can’t do enough for you, they give you recommendations help you plan and book the national park, give u lifts there in a morning amazing service.
The young lad has excellent English and his dad is the sweetest man ever he really makes sure you’re safe and well looked after !!!
Excellent value for the price

La atención por parte de Jack (que además habla inglés genial, lo cual se agradece muchísimo) y de su padre fue excepcional. No nos faltó de nada en ningún momento. Es totalmente recomendable alojarse en este hostal si quieres tener la mejor visita al parque nacional.
The service from Jack (who also speaks excellent English, which was greatly appreciated) and his father was exceptional. We lacked nothing at any time. Staying at this hostel is highly recommended if you want the best possible visit to the national park.
