There was no close restaurant not bars

Everything but the location was terrible, the rooms were worn down, dirty, there were holes in the sheets, there was no soap or shampoo in the shower. There was no reception. The only place to keep something cooled was a shared fridge in the entrance for the whole hotel. The pictures of the room we chose featured a jacuzzi, but that's wasn't included in our room.

Ik hou er helemaal niet van om iemands werk te bekritiseren maar dit hotel is echt een grote tegenvaller. Wij wilden bij aankomst het liefst direct weer naar huis vertrekken.

Het is een bende, alles wat je aanraakt valt uit elkaar en de badkamer was smerig.
Bij binnenkomst vraag je je af of je op de goede plek bent aangekomen, er is geen personeel, het voelt alsof je een verlaten spookhotel betreed. Je moet inchecken met een QR code (werkte bij ons niet).

Op de kamer aangekomen spring gelijk de badkamer er uit, er is geen normale douche, de douchekop ligt op de grond en die moet je zelf vasthouden om te kunnen douchen. Ik denk dat een somalische gevangenis betere badkamers heeft.
Bij het ontbijt zie je teleurgestelde gezichten van andere gasten. Het is heel beperkt en niet goed. Ze laten het brood, fruit en broodbeleg wat over is gewoon liggen voor de volgende dag. Het was in de ruimte 35 graden, dat is echt onacceptabel.

Alles straalt uit dat de eigenaar en het personeel er gewoon geen zin in hebben. Er ligt een waslijst met overtredingen en bekeuringen op je kamer, geschreven met een toon alsof ze je met tegenzin ontvangen, alsof ze liever gewoon helemaal geen gasten hebben.

Dit hotel verdient een andere eigenaar, iemand met een beetje potentie.

The breakfast was basic, and the booking site for the parking was a bit weird.

Sadly it was not very welcoming. Although the conversation with hotel was fine the welcome at the hotel was pretty poor. No reception and a complicated self login that involved paying a 100 chf deposit. Now I understand that there have been issues in hotels with people preparing food and the like in the room, using the kettle for other things than water but still. The welcome folder in the room told on the first page the history of the hotel once used by Stalin and then the following pages was a list of fines for inappropriate behaviour. Now obviously none of these were going to be done by us so really not a problem but still. Is it really necessary? We felt completely unwelcome and worried that existing issues in the room would be charged to us. They were not, and all was well. But really … see the photo for the list of infringements.

So for a cheap stay in otherwise expensive Switzerland then ok. Just don’t expect a warm welcome.

Notre chambre était trop petite et le lit superposé avait une trop petite barrière qui protège la personne de tomber. L'échelle pour monter sur le lit n'est pas du tout confortable et fait mal aux plantes de pieds.
