Pros:

It is an old property, centrally located. Well maintained. Clean & spacious rooms. Hassle free checkin. Warm front desk staff who will address your queries and issues quickly.

Food
1. The breakfast at Subhiksha restaurant can definitely improve. Less options and not very tasty food.
2. There are flies in the restaurant.
3. The table cloths are dirty, floor under the tables have food. Cleanliness needs more rigor.

Room
1. No toiletry supplies available. We had to ask for them to provide.
2. There were no water bottles. On asking they provided.
3. There is a minibar in the suite that is empty. The refrigerator was old & dirty.

Pros:

Although the establishment is quite old, the upkeep is good and the rooms are relatively comfortable. The management deserves praise for nicely maintaining facilities. Combined with the it's prime location, a good choice for a nice stay and good vegetarian food (albeit a little costly)!

We always stay at BTH
Pros:

Breakfast spread is nice . But if one stays 3/4 days in one stretch one gets tired. Needs a little more variety . But your buffet breakfast is value for money ,no doubt.

Good , Food was a disappointment.

Could have a few Kerala items like Appam, Idiappam, Puttu.

Out of touch with customer friendliness. They are an old hotel and still believe that they are unrep

There are two issues
1. The staff at the reception area mechanical and process driven. They lack warmth and friendliness. When I asked the if I could get 1 hour of extra check out time the reply was pedantic and brusque - telling me if the stay exceeded 1 hour I would be charged for an extra day.
2. There are flies in the restaurant which come and sit on the food. So when I am eating, my left hand is constantly waving away flies. Horrible and unhygienic.
