At the cost of another taxi ride back to airport we didn’t DIDNT STAY WE LEFT

Atmosphere on arrival gave the feeling that the hotel was being used as some sort of a hostel that made us feel very uneasy
It smelt of stale cigarettes
After late night flight we took ourselves to the room to find the sink had been broken and held back together with some form of wall filer
Silicone mouldy around bathroom
And if that was not bad enough we sat on the bed thinking it’s for one night before travelling home to discover clover mites on my arm having got up to get them off to my horror found a bed bug where I had been sat my boyfriend got up to find another we moved the pillows to discover around 10 bedbugs under pillows and on the headboard
On complaining to reception who didn’t seem overly concerned and told us to take it up with Booking.com for refund, when they contacted the hotel they denied all
Fortunately the pictures and videos we took tell the truth

Pros:

Value for money in this location. Would recommend as one of the best room & facilities near NEC or Airport.

Cons:

Easy to get to, room and bed were very comfortable with an excellent food shop next door. With a hotel with a bar in walking distance. Over all was very happy.

Be aware, False Advertising.
Never experienced Adnans Hotel which is what I booked, so unfortunately can not comment on this property. Me & my daughter were directed to the Gables hotel, which apparently is the sister company. I was told there was no rooms left in Adnas. At the time of booking the Gables was advertised £20 less to which I paid so obviously i wasn’t happy and made my feelings very clear.

Cons:

The Gables Hotel is extremely basic, old tatty furniture. Tv signal bad. Bathroom unclean, no air con. No kettle/tea/coffee facilities. Door lock/windows unsafe.

No kettle was provided, despite being listed. The shower had low pressure & was lukewarm. The room was facing the main road & wasn’t very soundproofed.

For the price, it was fine. Lots could be fixed for the hotel and it definitely needs a refresh.
Pros:

The venue was very close to the NEC. This was perfect for us. The staff were all friendly and the takeaway attached, Adnans, did lovely food. The bedding looked new and clean which was nice. The price was so cheap, especially as we booked late, that you can't really expect much for such a cheap cost.

Cons:

The room was quite dirty, there were soiled clothes on top of the wardrobe left by previous occupants. There was also about 20 digestive biscuits there as well. The shower had a pitiful stream of water and was loose on the wall, I'm tall and tried to adjust the height and it felt like the whole thing would come off. The plug socket on the wall was loose and the lamp next to the bed was chipped and held together with sticky tape. The smell in the room was overwhelming and made my eyes water when i first entered. I have no idea what was causing it.

Convenient location, free parking. Friendly staff.. for the price, we got what we paid for.

Cons:

Limited amenities (no kettle in room). Shower door dropped every time you entered, hard to reseat. Shower cubicle very small. Bed was comfy. Rooms needed a redecoration really, scuffed walls, switches painted over and never cleaned off, carpet had some staining, but room was clean if dated. Window catches broken.
