Disappointing stay — poor service and a sleepless night
Pros:

The rooms were new, clean, and nicely finished. The location is great, and the high floors were a nice touch

Cons:

For a 4-star hotel, the experience fell well short. There’s no lobby, which felt odd from the start - not a dealbreaker, but a sign of things to come.
The service was poor throughout. Check-in was painfully slow - about 20 minutes just to get into our rooms. At checkout, staff asked if everything had been okay; when I said it really hadn’t, no one bothered to ask why. One thing the booking platform may want to note: they disregarded the agreed booking terms and asked for a deposit three times the stated amount.
The biggest problem was the noise on our second night. The rooms aren’t soundproofed, so you hear other guests - but worse, the hotel itself played music until 2am. Repeated calls to the front desk, either to switch rooms or to stop the music, got us nowhere. We were told they were “testing the sound system” for a new restaurant between 22:00 and 02:00, which made a proper night’s sleep impossible. The first night was fine on that front.
A few other concerns, consistent across all three rooms we had (spread over three floors):
* The elevator sways alarmingly, like one that’s decades overdue for servicing - it felt like a genuine safety hazard.
* Housekeeping enters your room even with the “Do Not Disturb” sign up, and even after being asked not to. It happened with different cleaners on different floors, so it seems to be hotel policy rather than a one-off.
* Cleaning happens at unusual hours, between 08:00 and 10:00.
Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel. The combination of indifferent service and a sleepless second night is hard to overlook.
