Very big private balcony, good for yoga. Nice entry hall with a workdesk. Host is helpful if he is available
No water refill station, rely on the host to supply you with bottles (no charge).
Very convenient location, we got the non-AC room and the owners had provided clean and good towels, bedsheets etc. for us.
The balcony is also so aesthetic with a flowering Bougainvillea branch right as you open the door.
Owners were so kind, arranged an ayurvedic massage for us on very short notice (told them on the morning of, and it was arranged by 1pm). Sweet and friendly. Will definitely be staying here the next time I'm in fort kochi area.
Honestly nothing not to like. Some common areas like the kitchen on the 1st floor or the shelves of the cupboards could have used a dusting down before our coming, but we didn't have any use for it so I guess it makes sense why it wasn't dusted much. The areas we used (the actual room) were well cleaned, dustbins segregated, washroom wiped and dried. So I'd say it's a non-issue.
I highly recommend Hornbill Inn! Host went above and beyond to help me with booking Tuktuk and accomodation for my next stop. He even checked if I got on my bus and arrived my next destination safely. I felt right at home. Room is nice as well with a balcony and option to have AC.

A/C is subject to extra INR 250 per night. The bathroom sink (wash basin) is outside the room. Every time you use the toilet you have to go out of the room same for brushing your teeth. Presence of insects (ants) crawling along the wall and in the 2 single beds and I didn’t bring any food in the room. Lack of cleaning

Had a wonderful stay at this homestay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making us feel at home. The location is peaceful yet close to all major attractions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a homely and relaxing stay!

Wonderful homestay in Fort Kochi, walking distance to all touristic places.
The owner was very kind and always looking after us. It felt like home for us with our family.
He arranged backwaters tour ,yoga and Kathakali show and taxi for airport.
All the activities were great fun and good value for money.
In addition, they prepared a traditional breakfast of the area, and it was delicious.
I totally recommend this homestay, I could go back in a future occasion.

The double bed is a bit small, but it's ok.
We should have chosen the twin beds.

The location is at walking distance from Vasco da Gama Square and the Chinese fishing nets.
The room was comfortable and had all you need for a short stay at Fort Kochi, highly recommended!
