Good on a budget and with your own transport.
Pros:

Cheap. Nice host.

Really far from the town. Cant get tuk tuk on pick me.

Muy bueno
Pros:

Manoj es una gran persona, nos ayudó a recorrer Ella, movernos en el tren hacia el centro de la ciudad y nos guió para ir a las atracciones.
La habitacion es enorme, el baño es cómodo. El dueño nos ayudó a acomodar la salida de agua caliente, muy útil ya que baja la temperatura en la noche.

Cons:

Está alejado de la ciudad, lo cual incomoda por la falta de restaurantes en la zona y la dependencia de Tuk tuk o alquiler de moto para movilizarte. Manoj nos ayudó una cena haciendo de Delivery.
Recomendamos a otros huespedes usar el tren para ir hasta el centro en modo economico, la estacion Kital Ella esta a 3 minutos del homestay.

We had an unforgettable stay at Kithaya Ella. The Room with Balcony was spacious, spotless, and the view of Ella’s mountains from the balcony took our breath away every morning. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home especially with our kids. It’s peaceful, beautifully located, and the perfect base to explore Ella town. If you’re looking for comfort, calm, and genuine hospitality in the hills, Kithaya Ella is the place. We’ll be back!

Great Place to stay for hiking
Pros:

This is an exceptional place to stay while hiking the Pekoe Trail! The balcony in the misty morning is beautiful. I got a couple fresh water leeches while hiking and the owner helped me remove them and stop the bleeding.

Cons:

The rooms are dated and there are not many places to dry wet clothing.

Комната была отличная, хоть и вход в санузел был в коридоре. В номере было чисто, полотенца, вода, чай, чайник электрический, кружки.
Чтобы доехать от автобусной остановки до отеля на тук туке нужно заплатить 1500 рупий.
Администратор отзывчивый.
Очень удобное расположение к горе Элла Рок.
