Kamer B bevind zich in de kelder. En heeft een glazen schuifdeur als toegangsdeur.

Deze laat licht, geur en geluid door. Snachts meerdere malen uit bed om het licht op de gang uit te doen. Kookgeuren uit de keuken blijven hangen in de kamer. Wij waren voor half 6 al wakker omdat een andere gast s ochtends vroeg de wasmachine en droger gebruikte.

Verder was alles eigenlijk perfect geregeld en netjes, alleen de kamer viel op deze punten erg tegen.

Tivemos a experiência de um rato no quarto quando chegamos, e como eram umas 01 da manhã, ninguém do hotel pode nós da suporte! Meu marido teve que matar o rato. Foi horrível, e queria ir embora de madrugada.
No dia seguinte o funcionário nos ajudou, pediu para irem limpar o sangue do rato. E no próximo dia, mandaram uma equipe de limpeza para fazer uma limpeza completa .Quando chegamos ao quarto, percebemos que estava bem sujo, então não sei se foi limpo antes de chegarmos.

It does not have a lift, not even for the luggage. We were assigned a room in the top floor, level 3. I have chronic asthma and bad knees, while my hubby has bad knees. Going up 3 sets of stairs while dragging a 15kg suitcase was no fun at all. The kitchen was really really nice and the laundry was a big bonus. But it was all located on the ground floor. To make tea or coffee everyday we had to go up and down 3 sets of stairs. It was a struggle for me.

Room was dirty full of insects.

Clean and cosy

There were no keys - a code was provided and not until right on the time checkin was available. This was a bit off-putting as we were not sure what the process would be and had thought someone would meet us at the property only to be contacted via phone message and left to work it out for ourselves. The door code and door knob and the one for the apartment door are a bit like a puzzle that requires a safe cracker. But we got there. Our apartment was on the third floor and there is no lift. The room (like many in England) had no air-conditioning - however there was an electric fan we used and you can slightly open the window. Streaming did not seem to be available and we ended up channeling to our own Netflix account one night. There is loads of empty cupboard space and the renovation is quite ad hoc.

I called two days in advance to request access to the room at 9:30 a.m., and this was confirmed to me. However, when I arrived, I was told that the room was occupied and that I could not access it before 3:00 p.m.
After paying an extra £15 to be able to enter at noon, I was informed at 1:00 p.m. that I could enter. I then had to wait for about half an hour in front of the room because the code I had been given was incorrect.
Terrible management!

The fact that a hair dryer was furnished with a uk plug but the bathroom didn't have a uk plug option. Being a us citizen , one wouldn't know to buy a specific uk to European adapter . No elevator plus Booking.Com advertised this property as an apartment and private kitchen. E locks were difficult to operate.

We stayed in room B which was in the basement. We had not appreciated that there was a very narrow staircase leading down to this bedroom which was the only way we could get up and down onto ground floor. This meant we had to carry our very heavy 3 suitcases up and down which was painful and difficult. It was also unusual that the pillows in bedroom B had no protective pillow covers so we could see the condition they were in - all yellow stained. Mattress also felt saggy. We could not get the large TV to operate even though the host claimed you could log into it but we could not get any channels to do so and no free to air TV.

We arrived at night and struggled to initially locate the property.
Some clear instructions on how to find the property from the tube station would have been useful.

The bathroom isn’t an extension of the physical room itself, we were in room 4 and had a shared bathroom with room 5, which belonged to a guest that we did not arrive with (though perhaps this is my fault as the description states “shared bathroom” and I assumed that meant shared between the guests you book with!). Although I loved the use of a code to enter our room, I will say for anyone looking to book, don’t make the mistake I did a go knocking on doors looking for reception to confirm that you’re in the right place. There are people that actually live in the buildings around them 😬. Again, most of these were my own fault, not a reflection of the property. There were a few cracks in the door, and the windows were a struggle to get open, but not at all a major issue, as the rest of the room was lovely
