Pros:

Ideal if travelling by train as station a minutes walk.
Very comfortable bed and bedding. Brilliant shower and all very clean.
Great staff and atmosphere in the pub and the breakfast was excellent.
Surprised how quiet it was.

Cons:

Nothing. A perfect stop to stay if visiting Lymington or travelling to IOW.

A Convenient Place to Stay in Lymington
Pros:

The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very good and the cappuccino in particular was delicious. Location was excellent - close to both the railway station and the high street, but it was surprisingly quiet.

Cons:

I was staggered to learn that the charge for a dog was £25 per night. I joked about his getting a cooked breakfast but, in fact, he was given a meal bowl, treats and a generous portion of sausage each morning at breakfast. Still, I think £25 was high.
When I first made the booking, I was told that we would have a room with its own entrance and a garden view. The day before our arrival, we received an email from Bosun's Chair saying we would be in room 5. Turns out it was on the top floor and there was no garden view. I didn't query it but probably should have.
I also felt our room was on the small side. There was nowhere to sit but on the bed, and there was very little space between the foot of the bed and the wall. When my husband was sitting at the foot of the bed, he had to move if I wanted to walk past.

Honestly the only thing I could say
(Was ok for me) but nice big shower but the way the door is mounted inwards you have go in shower and close the door so your in the corner-if you were bigger that might cause a problem…
