Great location
Pros:

Great location a few minutes walk from the town centre. Room was a decent size and had everything you rwould need.
Breakfast was excelent cooked fresh and plenty of it.

Perfect stay
Pros:

Beautiful room. Comfortable bed with crisp fresh linen. Lots of fluffy towels and quality toiletries in bathroom as,well as tea, coffee and water in room. Excellent breakfast with great coffee. All members of the team were friendly, helpful and approachable. We didn't done in the pub that evening as,had,arranged to dine elsewhere but look forward to trying it when we return. Central location with easy access to town, railway and IOW ferry terminal. Great value and looking forward to returning

Fabulous pub stay
Pros:

Fabulous friendly staff, excellent location in Lymington. Breakfast was delicious! Liked the large ceiling fan in the room.

Cons:

The bed was too soft for my liking, but still slept well despite the heat.

Great place - would stay again but probably ask for room with opening window
Pros:

slightly out of town which meant it was quieter but 5 minute walk to centre. Small car park to rear of pub. Nice room and bathroom

Cons:

Room 9 has a fan as windows don’t open. Room can be stuffy on a hot night

We felt very exposed in the bathroom. It needed a blind not just frosted glass as the room is overlooked.

Great place, great people and fab breakfast. Highly recommended and good value for money.
Pros:

Great place! Ideal for travelling onwards as ferry port close by. Near to town centre so easy reach of restaurants etc if you want to eat out.

Great location. Traditional old pub.
Pros:

Location was good.
In close proximity to the railway station.
Easy walking distance to High Street.
Parking on site. First come first served.
Very clean and comfortable room (8).

Cons:

We expected a varied menu at the location and would have eaten in however the only menu we saw was for pizza.
Unavoidable, however two flights of steep stairs to room.
Biggest bird poops ever on car (in pub car park) overnight.

Definitely recommend
Pros:

Rooms were very clean as were all other areas. Staff were welcoming, friendly and really attentive. Breakfast really lovely. I'm vegetarian and my friend vegan, we were both catered for and the staff were very helpful , even asking if there was anything else they could get in for us. Location was very convenient for shops, harbour and train station. Would definitely recommend Bosuns Chair and would stay again.

Cons:

Mattress was a bit on the firm side for me.
