Comfortable, friendly and very good value for money.
Pros:

It was a real pub. So comfortable, breakfast was excellent and the staff were always helpful. Our dog was even given sausages for breakfast!

An excellent small pub hotel for a short break
Pros:

The Bosun's Chair is perfectly located in Lymington, very convenient for Beaulieu and the New Forest. The staff are really friendly and the breakfast was great! The team was also able to help me with an early breakfast on the Sunday (I pre-ordered on the Saturday), so that I could get to Beaulieu on time that morning.

Cons:

The room was perfectly good - though as can be expected this very hot summer, it was a bit too warm (despite being provided with a fan)!

Pros:

LOCATION GREAT FOR TOWN ETC…. CLEAN ROOM, VERY GOOD BREAKFAST, NICE PUB AND STAFF.

Cons:

SHOWER WAS PRETTY POOR. WEAK FLOW AS ALL ELECTRIC SHOWERS. ROOM WAS HOT BUT THATS NOT THEIR FAULT AND YOU DO GET 2 FANS INCLUDING A GREAT CEILING FAN. OVERALL FAR MORE POSITIVE THAN NEGATIVE.

Fabolous stay and would definitely return
Pros:

The Australian young lady who served us both days for breakfast was very pleasant and went above and beyond
Highly recommended Excellent place to stay

Cons:

The only thing to improve on would be to have a fridge a little bigger in the room as it was extremely hot when we stayed and it only held 2 cans of lemonade it would have been nice to have keep bottle of water in

Pros:

Our room was spacious and clean. Excellent position in Lymington. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast.
Parking was easy and good outdoor seating areas.

Cons:

Having rung to check that we could bring our dog, l was then asked to pay £25 per night for the dog.
£50 for two nights to bring a dog is outrageous.
I completely understand that a room may need extra cleaning if a dog has stayed but £25 per night is ridiculous and this was not mentioned when l called. This should be clearly advertised.

Great rooms, value for money
Pros:

The property was very central, super close to the train station and not too far from town centre but not too busy or noisy. Staff were very pleasant and breakfast was super. We also enjoyed our drinks with warm pork cracklings.

Cons:

There was a bit of noise outside our window when people were getting taxis in front of the pub but then it was a Saturday night.
