החדרים היו נקיים, צפו לנוף של האוקיינוס, גינה יפה עם פינות ישיבה.

Cons:

חדר האמבטיה ממש קטן עד מחניק

Le confort de la chambre, petit-déjeuner et qualitatif. Personnel très agréable, attentionné et serviable. Les tours touristiques (café, chocolat, cloud forest) sont à un prix correct et qualitatif.

A peaceful Monteverde retreat with exceptional hospitality, comfortable rooms, and a great breakfast
Pros:

From the moment we arrived, we knew we'd made the right choice. The staff welcomed us with genuine smiles and authentic Pura Vida hospitality that made us feel at home throughout our stay.

The hotel is a modern, beautifully maintained oasis surrounded by lush greenery. Our room was spotless, quiet, and thoughtfully equipped with a comfortable bed, A/C, coffee, tea, a mini fridge, and a private balcony overlooking nature. After long days of hiking and ziplining, the excellent water pressure and endless hot water were an unexpected luxury.

Breakfast was outstanding every morning, with delicious local fruit, great coffee, and plenty of fresh options to start the day. The location was ideal—close enough to walk to Santa Elena's restaurants and shops in about 20 minutes, yet far enough away to enjoy complete peace and quiet.

If you're looking for exceptional hospitality, comfortable modern rooms, an amazing breakfast, and a relaxing place to experience Monteverde, Calathea Hotel is an outstanding choice. It exceeded our expectations and was one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip.

Nous avons chois cet hôtel en derniere minute pour en quitter un autre. celui ci correspondait mieux au confort que nous attendions donc les chambres sont biens et spacieuse

Pros:

Todo, nuestra habitación era perfecta, estaba todo muy limpio y me gestionaron las excursiones en un momento. El desayuno buenísimo y abundante. A destacar la amabilidad y la profesionalidad de todo el personal. Sin lugar a dudas volveré .

Le fait que ce soit un petit appartement, chacune notre chambre nous donnait un peu plus d'intimité! Situation géographique très bien pour les activités à faire autour. Les déjeuners sont complets (fruits; jus de fruit, café) et les omelettes sont excellentes!!

Cons:

Manque un peu de vaisselle pour cuisiner (passoire pour les pâtes, tasse à mesurer) mais on s'en est bien sortie quand même. Un ou deux linges de vaisselle de plus auraient été appréciés (pour laver la vaisselle et le comptoir)

Excellent place!
Pros:

We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. The staff was absolutely exceptional, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

The property was exactly as pictured: spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
