Staff was great, building dated and not sound proofed. Also the permanent cigarette smoking in pool/bbq area made it

Pros:

Darwin has a compact city centre and the Alatai was only 5-10 mins from everywhere we wanted to go. It was clean, tidy, and also had a pool. Good value for money too.

Cons:

Not a lot to comment here on negatives. It's an older hotel and probably at some point needs a refurbishment.

Perfect for a short stay
Pros:

We didn't use the facilities much, as we arrived early to dump our bags before seeing the city, and returned late, and left before dawn to fly out. The staff we met were very friendly and accommodating. We liked having the in-unit washer and dryer, but remember to bring your own detergent!

Cons:

It didn't look very appealing from the street.

Großes Zimmer mit guter, leiser Klimaanlage, bequemem Bett und guter Dusche. Gut abzudunkeln.
Freundlicher Check-in und Check-out
Genügend Parkplätze.
Nepalisches Restaurant zu empfehlen.

Cons:

WLAN ist wechselhaft (nach der Tür gut, im Bett nicht).
Frühstück nicht inklusive (ich kann das Café 21 Smith empfehlen).

4 Nights in Darwin
Pros:

Best location, excellent parking too. Staff are friendly and helpful, we were able to leave our luggage as we had a later flight. Clean accommodation, great and much needed airconditioning. The pool is lovely and it was a nice quiet and convenient location. Only 15mins from airport and close to everything. About the same into the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and was such a great price too! We were four women on a four night girl's trip. Thank you Alatai Apartments, we highly recommend though we forgot to take photos!

Cons:

We were surprised there were no pool towels, though we were given fresh towels every day but Sunday.

Comfortable stay
Pros:

The location is only a 15–20 minute walk to the CBD, which made it very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable. There’s also an outdoor swimming pool, although I didn’t have time to use it during my stay. The staff were friendly, and Su was always smiling and very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay.
