Banana Bungalows Tetebatu

The people, the hosts are amazing. They will make you feel like home. They will make you breakfast whenever you want (we even had it at 12pm once). You can rent scooters from them or they can drive you around when you need. If you need anything, they will get it for you: water, tabacco, food. They give you tea and coffee for free, which is amazing. They have a restaurant with great food and very good prices (cheapest around there). Only 10 min walk to Tetebatu waterfall and monkey forest, plus many local shops and warungs around there. For 10 euros, they can drive you around the whole city for basket weaving and textile weaving, plus coconut oil process which you can keep for yourself after.

Very welcoming and kind owners. They treated us very nicely and gave as a tour around the area. We drank and had fires every night which was very fun. The breakfast is delicious and the restaurant is also very good. I would definitely recommend if you want an authentic experience surrounded by nature (a waterfall is only 2 minutes walk away).

Wer eine besondere Unterkunft sucht, ist in den Banana Bungalows genau richtig! Die Anlage hat einen schönen Garten und die zwei Bungalows sind groß und sehr gemütlich (bequemes Bett und sauberes Badezimmer).
Das junge Team ist unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich dort sofort wie zu Hause. Die Lage ist klasse, da man viele Spots bequem zu Fuß erreicht. Abende am Lagerfeuer, leckeres Essen und Erlebnisse wie die beeindruckenden Kletterkünste der Jungs, um frische Kokosnüsse zu holen, machen den Aufenthalt unvergesslich. Eine klare Weiterempfehlung!

was lucky enough to chance upon a 4-day booking at this bungalow, and I have to say it’s been one of the highlights of my vacation.
​Starting with the location—it is truly wonderful, nestled in lush greenery and surrounded by incredible wildlife. There are many spots reachable on foot that are beautiful to see both through the eyes of a tourist and to appreciate as a traveler.
​The owner and his son treated me more like a friend than a guest, which I truly appreciated; they took me to see the nearby attractions as well as some little hidden gems.
​As for meals, there are plenty of nice areas around, but I preferred eating at the bungalow's own warung because it’s affordable and delicious—you can really taste the quality of the fresh ingredients they serve.
​I’m giving it 5 stars because I honestly can't find a single negative thing to say. It’s among the most affordable places in the area, and the people are wonderful if you're even slightly friendly and open to good company. They aren't fluent in English, but you can still have great conversations; they show you everything there is to enjoy in the surroundings, and honestly, that was more than enough for me."

If you're looking for a chill nice spot to relax but still be near good restaurants, the monkey forest and activities... this place is perfect. Imen was so kind and welcoming, we had really great talks and he even drove me to Bangsal to get my ferry. His son Indra also offered to drive me around to check nearby villages and do extra activities in the area. Also, the food was delicious!! Best banana pancakes I've had so far, and the egg curry was sooo good.
Tetebatu has a lot of magic, and this place is just perfect to relax and slowly explore it. Highly recommend 😄
PD: Don't forget to also visit Sama Sama, a bar with really nice vibes just 1 min away!

The bungalows are new and exceptionally clean. Very peaceful.

EVERYTHING

The people were friendly, and took us to a live music party. You could have breakfast there for a small price. We also got transported to the airport after our stay for payment ofcourse.

L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter la forêt et les rizières. Le lit est très confortable.

Lovely people to stay with!
Family is always available for whatever may be required - advice, local knowledge, goods, transport, tours, medical help etc.
There is someone onsite 24/7, with true care.
Sasak family with strong ties amongst local Sasak community.
Community is equally lovely to stay amongst- I have exchanged hugs with some women (I am a woman) that I won’t forget.

3 bungalows in secluded garden in Tetebatu town off the main road, quiet and peaceful location.
Mosques can be heard at prayer times, with enchanting singers and good sounding speakers. (Not harsh like some).
Gecko, frogs, birds and song create a mesmerising soundscape at sunset prayers particularly.

Bungalows in great shape, newly constructed.
Currently cold shower (water heater is in repair, the fresh spring water is pleasant anyway).

Garden has much to offer throughout the seasons and the owner has good knowledge of many uses of plants to share.

Food is available from the family home at very good prices and delicious.
I am vegan and have enjoyed many delicious meals with flavours and texture in harmony.

Le lieu perdu à côté des rizières , le personnel adorable et aux petits soins

Nos ofrecieron una cena muy rica preparada por ellos. Personal muy amable. El entorno es único, super bonito, verde, cerca de las cascadas (se puede ir andando por tu cuenta), también del monkey forest.
Está en plena naturaleza, para lo bueno y para lo malo.

Ruime slaapkamer, ruime badkamer, prachtig uitzicht vanaf je balkon. Ontbijt was prima.
