The food was awesome, but there was little variety.

However, the price absolutely does not reflect the quality of the property. It is far too expensive and it is definitely not a 5-star hotel. At best, it would be a 3-star guesthouse.

There is no bar, no restaurant on site, and no real hotel services. It is simply a large house with bedrooms and a dining area on the ground floor. That is all.

Several elements are missing for it to be considered a 5-star property:

- There is no air conditioning or fan, only a small portable heater that is not suitable for the size of the room.
- The internet does not work at all, which means the TV does not work either.
- There was no hand towel provided in the bathroom, and only one toiletry kit was available despite us being two guests.
- There is almost no space available in the fridge to store anything, barely enough for a bottle of water.

It is also a shame that the atmosphere during dinner was affected by very loud pop music and noisy staff, which took away from the enjoyment of the delicious meal we had.

Providing a shuttle service from the city centre, or at least offering to call a tuk-tuk or help guests arrange transport after check-out, would be more in line with the 5-star service you promote.

The payment process on arrival was also a little confusing. We were asked to pay in LKR or by card, whereas Booking.com stated that cash payment in US dollars was required. We appreciated that you eventually accepted dollars (that we had to change on purpose, because we are Europeans and use euros), but the information was inconsistent.

Overall, we were disappointed with the value for money. We paid €181 for one night, including breakfast and dinner, which is far too expensive for the level of service and facilities provided.

There are no activities available on site, no tea plantation visits, no bike tours, and very little to do given the remote location.

What a shame, as the property has a lot of potential.

The bed was horrible, felt like sleeping on a piece of wood. The breakfast was below average.

A szallodaban eredetikeg 2 ejt foglaltunk, viszont olyan rossz volt az ido, es egesz ejjel fujt a szel, a lakas tetejet verte, nagy zaj volt, aludni nem tudtunk. Igy ugy dontottunk, hogy hamarabb tavozunk. Gondoltuk, hogy mivel a szalloda ingyenesen aznapig lemondhato, igy ezt megtehetjuk. Megbeszeltuk a recepciossal, azt mondta hogy egyszeruen mondjam le es visszautaljak a penzt. Ezt megtettem, majd utana jott a fekete leves. Fizettem osszesen 308 dollart a ket ejszakara, es a lemondas utan mind osszesen 31 dollart adtak vissza, 1 ej ara 267 dollar volt…kerem ilyen nincs sehol ilyen merteku szabad rablas! Elfogadhatatlan! A furdoszobaban a csempek peneszesek, a torolkozok nagyon kopottak voktak. Az 5 csillaghoz semmi koze nincs a szallodanak! Legfeljebb 3 csillagot erdemel.
