Nice hotel, great location, spacious rooms all with river view.

Great location. Good breakfast and meal
In restaurant for late lunch/early dinner was good quality and good value.

Cons:

The male Receptionist on our arrival could have been more helpful. The other female Receptionists were fine, and helpful with our luggage storage and on checkout.
The water in the bath didn’t drain well after using the over/bath shower. I meant to mention this on checkout but I forgot, however I wasn’t asked how the stay was either. Yes I would return, and if any issues with the room I would make sure i mentioned it at the time.

As always we enjoyed our break in Newcastle and will keep coming back to the Copthorne.
Pros:

The Copthorne is our go to hotel when in Newcastle. Position is excellent catching the buzz of the riverside and close to many attractions, restaurants and pubs. Rooms are clean, comfortable and fairly spacious with great views of the river. Staff are always friendly and helpful and room prices are usually good. Having a large car park attached to the hotel is great.

Cons:

The bathroom is a bit 'tired' looking but is clean and has both bath and shower with piping hot water so really not an issue at all.

A very pleasant stay…

Thought being a part of the millennium club gave you benefits. Last time we stayed here we got early checkin and late checkout. This time we were told no.
