Unterkunft (Erdgeschoss) nicht empfehlenswert.
Cons:

Wir waren in einer kalten und verregneten Zeit dort. Heizlüfter war ganz schwach. Bad war kalt. Schränke haben muffig, feucht gerochen. Kein einziger Haken zum Kleidung aufhängen. Wir haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt.

poorly constructed property in an excellent location
Pros:

Location with water views and sunrise can be viewed from the room

Cons:

There is no sound proofing in the walls at all they are just empty
We were just whispering to each other
As we heard everything next room people was talking- not to mention the Loud television of next door
No cooking facilities
No wash basin in Kitchen
Hot water system was terrible ( room temperature was 5 degrees!!)

Pros:

We loved our stay here, we didn’t want to leave! A great space with lovely views, great place to see the stars. Log burner was a bonus. Beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed.

Catlins gem
Pros:

Nice view of the lagoon. Lots of space in the 2 bedroom apartment. Parking. Good location for exploring the Catlins

Cons:

Could do with more sound proofing between the apartments as could hear the TV from next door. This was only minor though. The rest of the facilities made up for it.

Did not meet any staff so unable to comment. We thought the place was clean but basic. Poorly insulated so quite cold.

Pros:

Great location. Beautiful outlook across the water. Excellent communication with the owner ahead of check in.

Cons:

Noise between the adjacent room was pretty unpleasant. It’s an internal wall separating the accomodations, clearly just swap seats rooms in an exisiting house (rather than an insulated separate lodgings), which could be ok if people are advised to be quiet.
