The garden. But even that was small and awkward.
Staff friendliness only felt performative, it felt like they didn't actually want you there. Rooms were musty with mold even though they were cleaned well. It was difficult to get fresh air because opening your front door there'd be staff lounging a few feet just outside it, so it felt awkward for air much less using the small balcony yourself. The only room window for fresh air opened up onto the street where there was car exhaust. And similarly, there is no privacy with the window because people would be resting right outside your window — you could actually reach out and touch them. One man even tried to have a conversation with me while I was trying to rest in my room.
Three staff members actively avoided me while I waited to buy coffee until I just gave up.
I had to change rooms from the one singular nice room upstairs that actually does have a private balcony to another room mid-stay that was awful. I kept offering to pay every day but was told "don't worry," and wouldn't you know it, when I was finally allowed to pay upon check out it was the exact same premium rate as the only nice room upstairs, it felt very manipulative because at that point I couldn't do anything about it despite protesting.
I left a flower that is very valuable to me because it reminds me of my daughter in the first room, and discovered it a few days later behind the ear of one of the staff members. I wish they had just asked me if I still wanted it instead of keeping it for themselves.
This was the most beautiful place - I really wish I had stayed longer. The hostess went out of her way to treat any request and was truly wonderful

The room i booked was excellent. Maria was very nice and helpful. I will book again the same room if I come back to the place. I didnt try the breakfast, but it seems like the other guests were happy with it.
It would have been nice to have a cabinet or closet.
Ontzettend vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel. Er hangt echt een relaxte sfeer in het hotel en de mooie tuin.
Midden in het dorpje, alles zit op loopafstand.
Heerlijk vers bereid ontbijt en ontzettende goede koffie!
Schuin tegenover het hotel (rechts) zit een ontzettend goed Mexicaans restaurantje.
Er is geen airco op de kamers, wel goedwerkende ventilatoren. Aan de straatkant best wel wat geluid van de straat.

This hotel is beautiful, the garden is an oasis and well taken care of. The staff are kind and helpful, and they are able to book you tours/experiences. The room is cozy and clean and I slept well.
Unfortunately they don't serve breakfast daily, so it's a gamble if you are able to buy breakfast in the morning.
Todo perfecto.. Queda a tres cuadras del parque. La habitación es cómoda. Colchón y almohadas aptas para un buen descanso. También podés tomar un buen café. El jardín es precioso y el fuerte del hostal. Y la atención de María y Daniel super amables, informan sobre los posibles paseos con una sonrisa siempre en su rostro. Hermosa estadía. Muchas gracias!
Really enjoyed my stay here and Juayua in general. It is a really nice town to spend a night or 2 at and enjoy some local culture. Staff were very nice and helpful..helped arrange waterfall tour for me which was much appreciated. I was nervous about parking as I had a rental but there are plenty of places on streets nearby to park for free. Would recommend!

Prachtig kleinschalig centraal gelegen hotel
Perfectly located for the seven waterfalls tour in town. Literally a 2 minute walk to the meeting location. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and the place was very clean.
The best place to stay in Juayua. Perfect also to make a tour to the seven waterfalls. The hotel organizes the tour with the great guide Eri. Breakfast ist delicious. We liked it a lot.
Maria was such a delight. She made our stay so enjoyable. She was so helpful in booking adventures and her staff did an outstanding job maintaining the property. Our room was very clean, comfortable and private. The use of a shared kitchen was much appreciated.
Our first night (Saturday) was extremely noisy due to a pack of stray dogs outside the hotel. They barked all night long. There is really nothing that the hotel can do about it - just part of the "charm" of Juayua. Having earplugs came in handy.

Loved this hotel. The courtyard is so inviting. The room was clean and the beds super comfortable. There is no AC but it is not needed as it cools down nicely at night. The community kitchen was very much much appreciated. Maria provided excellent service, helping us with the Waterfall and coffee tours. She was always so cheerful.
