I had hoped to leave a positive review after our stay, but unfortunately the way our booking issue was handled by the property management left us very disappointed.

We booked an apartment with a separate bedroom through Booking.com several months in advance and paid €180 per night. We specifically chose this property because of the apartment with a separate bedroom, and we likely would not have booked the property if this room category had not been available.

Upon arrival, however, we were given a Studio instead, without even mentioning the mistake. The property was fully booked, so the apartment we had booked was not available.

We were offered only a refund of the €30 price difference between the two room categories. We accepted the Studio rather than letting the issue disrupt our holiday, but made it clear that we expected more than simply the difference in price, as we had not received the accommodation we had booked and paid for.

What disappointed us most was the way the situation was handled. The management did not offer any meaningful apology or take responsibility for the situation. Instead, we were told that Booking.com had to resolve the matter, leaving us to contact Booking.com ourselves.

During our two-night stay, nobody from the property followed up with us to ask whether the issue had been resolved or whether we needed any assistance. At check-out, when we explained that Booking.com had still not contacted us, the response was once again that Booking.com can sometimes be slow to respond.

After our stay, Booking.com informed us that they had been unable to reach an agreement with the property regarding any compensation. The property ultimately chose not to offer any compensation or further assistance.

Mistakes can happen, but good hospitality is also about how you deal with them. In our experience, the management could have shown considerably more professionalism, empathy and accountability instead of simply passing the responsibility to Booking.

Il parcheggio di fronte era molto piccolo, però ce n’era uno vicino la struttura dove si può parcheggiare gratuitamente

Il bagno era troppo piccolo, quasi non ci si poteva muovere. Doccia bella grande e anche il mobiletto con il lavandino. Le pulizie non mi hanno soddisfatto, alcune macchie di caffè sono rimaste lì tutto il tempo. Non hanno fatto il cambio asciugamani, nonostante una mattina abbia lasciati a terra.

Purtroppo per noi la colazione è stata l'unico punto debole. È una zona dove sono presenti praticamente solo tedeschi ed inglesi e quindi la colazione a buffet è prettamente salata. Se amate come noi la colazione dolce, c'è un microscopico tavolino con qualche briochina vuota/saccottino al cioccolato, muffin e biscotti, più qualche pane dolce ma con la cannella. Purtroppo molto limitata se amate il dolce, capisco però che debbano adattarsi alla clientela maggiore. Se amate il salato troverete il ben di Dio!
Altra cosa, purtroppo non avevano dei cuscini più bassi/duri, quelli dati in dotazione per noi erano troppo morbidi ed abbiamo chiesto se ne avessero di altre tipologie. Dopo due giorni che non ci hanno detto nulla a riguardo siamo andati chiedere di nuovo e ci hanno detto che avevano solo quella tipologia. Niente di grave comunque.
