Rien
Parking too expensive; too many children in wellness area permanently occupying the jacuzzi
The Steinbock is a wonderful little family-run hotel deep in the Alps. Very traditional, well-designed interiors, high-quality breakfast and dinner, comfortable rooms and good location at the Southern end of Pontresina. The staff is very nice and attentive, and we also received an impromptu taxi ride to the train station after checkout, which helped us a great deal. Access to the spa next door was included even in our shared-bathroom economy room reservation, which was splendid. Overall a pleasant experience!
This is not a slight to the staff at Steinbock, they did a great job, but in the Engadin Valley you will be served in at least three languages per sentence. It is sometimes very confusing and may lead to misunderstandings. Prices in Switzerland are always difficult for middle-class foreigners.
Ungewöhnlich hilfsbereite und freundliche Mitarbeiter, hervorragendes Frühstück
The ambiance and warmth of the interior. Great breakfast.
The tub in the shower was very slippery.
Nichts.
