The location was perfect - close to the Main Street, but far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful. The view from the dining area and our balcony was so beautiful. In the evening you can sit with a beer and watch the bats flying or just listen to the sounds of the jungle.
The room was beautiful. So clean and comfortable. A huge bathroom with a powerful shower and endless hot water. Lots of free water, tea and coffee. A beautiful balcony overlooking the garden and jungle.
The staff (family) were absolutely exceptional. They could not have done more for us, they are the kindest and warmest people. Gede can take you on tours, arrange transport or just help you with anything you need. We wanted to do the Munduk waterfall trek (without a guide - it is not necessary) and he even wanted to drop us at the start point. He drew us a hand drawn map which worked out perfectly. We opted to walk to the start point, which I would highly recommend. You won’t find the route on Google maps as it cuts through the jungle, but Gede will show you the way. It was a beautiful 25 minute walk along a small path, winding up through a few local houses. The people we passed were so friendly and welcoming. We decided to walk back this route too. It is very safe and you don’t need to walk along the road!
Breakfast was included and was enjoyable. We had our evening meals here too, which were freshly made by Gede’s wife. They were the best meals we have had so far in Indonesia. Ingredients are fresh everyday from the local market.
If there is availability for your dates, please don’t hesitate to book a room here (there’s only 3) and support this local family.

We felt taken care of. The hosts were very kind. Our kids loved playing with the hosts‘ son and the dog. While we „only“ rented a room, it felt like we also had a dining area and private cook. It was great to just eat „at home“ and not stress about finding a restaurant. The food is delicious, plates a big and the price is fair. Also, the host had a lot of great ideas on what to do and helped to arrange activities if desired. My favorite was the view from the room and the balcony, which I could enjoy en peace while my kids played upstairs. Many thanks! 🙏

Les visites proposées par Gede sont superbes.(cascades, balade dans la jungle, plantation d'épices, etc...)

Incroyable chambre pour les amoureux de la nature. On n’entendait que la rivière et les oiseaux! Il ne faut pas avoir peur du chemin un peu périlleux pour y arriver. Chambre superbe et propre. Nourriture excellente proposée par notre hôte. Tout est fait maison à la demande. Et nous avons passé une journée super avec Gede qui nous a fait visiter les plus belles cascades, un trek en pleine jungle avec une traversée en bateau traditionnel d’un joli lac. Le repas du midi était aussi excellent grâce à ses bonnes adresses. Merci encore pour ces moments !

No me pude ALOJAR porque para mi el acceso era dificil y peligroso. El propietario me hizo las gestIones y dijo que se me haria abono total de la estancia.

Son emplacement en pleine nature et l’accueil

Wir hatten zwei wundervolle Tage in absoluter Ruhe. Man hört nur den Fluss und die Vögel. Tolles Zimmer mit Blick auf die tropischen Pflanzen. Wir hatten einen phantastischen Ausflug mit Gede durch den Dschungel, zu Reisfeldern und Wasserfällen. Wir haben vor Ort leckeres Essen bekommen und interessante Gespräche geführt über das Leben auf Bali. Die ganze Familie ist herzensgut. Vielen Dank für die tolle Erfahrung ❤️

C'était parfait la propreté est impeccable emplacement aussi c'est magique surtout le matin

Nonostante non sia in una posizione comodissima, questa struttura vale per la sua unicità, l'atmosfera balinese, immerso nella natura fa' di questo posto una piccola chicca, colazione homemade, le camere curatissime.

A família foi incrível connosco em todos os pontos. Sempre preocupados e disponíveis para ajudar em tudo o que precisamos.

The room was ok with a great view. Also, the option of buying dinner at the accommodation was very useful since there is not much around.

Kleinschalige familie-homestay met 3 ruime en luxe kamers in een klein dorpje in de regio Munduk. Kamers kijken uit op een dal met bos en beekje. Rustige omgeving. Super vriendelijke ontvangst door de familie en heerlijk gegeten in het kleine restaurant. Dichtbij Lovina.

L'emplacement au calme, en face de la jungle. Endroit très authentique et au sein d’une famille balinaise d'une gentillesse hors normes. Ils ont un petit restaurant sur place où vous pouvez manger de délicieux plats locaux. Les chambres sont modernes, jolies et très propres. En plus Gede peut vous concocter un chouette programme dans les environs. Une pépite !!!

Gede en zijn familie zijn erg vriendelijk. Het was een bijzondere plek om te verblijven.
