Prachtig gelegen, zeer vriendelijk personeel, zeer proper en uitstekend eten

We loved this place so much! Like a fairy dream land in the woods and so close to Mount Etna! We arrived by taxi, and it was easily accessible by car. Once we arrived we were welcomed with early check in and some meats/cheeses and a tour of the wine cellar! Gieseppe and staff were incredible hosts and made us feel very at home! We ate at the restaurant each night and the food is outstanding! They even use fresh ingredients like mushrooms from the property and the breakfast in the morning was delightful! We will be back for sure!

Soggiorno meraviglioso, immerso nel bosco, in una splendida suite con vasca idromassaggio. Abbiamo cenato direttamente nella taverna, dove abbiamo trovato cibo di alta qualità e piatti davvero ottimi. Il personale è stato sempre gentile, disponibile e attento. Un ringraziamento speciale a Pippo e Peppe, che con la loro accoglienza e simpatia ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa. Un'esperienza da ripetere e che consiglio vivamente!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Locanda Milna. From the moment we arrived, the family who run the hotel made us feel genuinely welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic experience.
Travelling with fussy children can be challenging, but they were incredibly attentive and even prepared bespoke vegetarian meals that suited both us and our kids perfectly. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their kindness and flexibility made all the difference.
The breakfasts and evening meals were outstanding, made with fresh local ingredients and full of flavour. One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying sunset drinks overlooking Mount Etna. The hosts made it such a special experience, often treating us to complimentary drinks and snacks while we watched the sun go down.
They also shared excellent local recommendations, always checked that we had everything we needed, and even kindly allowed us a late check-out before our evening flight, which we really appreciated.
If you're looking for peace and tranquillity, this is the perfect place. The hotel is small, quiet and tucked away in a beautiful, remote setting. For much of our stay, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, making it the ideal escape to truly relax and unwind.
What stood out most was the genuinely personalised service. We never felt like just another booking – we felt like valued guests. The family and staff consistently went above and beyond to make our holiday memorable.
I couldn't recommend Locanda Milna more highly and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

attention: when you acces the the hotel the first question should be: Is Andrea here? :) He is the best hotel staff I have ever seen in my life. I hope he will own his hotel in future. Let's back to the hotel. Hotel is middle of forest. Part of nature. Excellent restorant and bar. Rooms are enough size, clean and slient. Very good place to rest. Even if we decided not climb to Ethna.

Beautiful contemporary buildings that blend into this amazing forestry backdrop!
The perfect place for anyone looking to climb Etna or enjoys trekking. The staff were amazing, so helpful, knowledgable and kind, they provided many extra things to what was already a perfect getaway which added such value and ease to our trip, we felt so well looked after from start to finish, a perfect stress free holiday!
A special mention to Andrea who’s food was divine!! We’ve eaten at many top restaurants around the world and his food alone would be worth the visit! Truly remarkable chef! We will be recommending to our friends/family and anyone interested in this region of Scilly.

Un luogo dove trovare la pace e la calma che solo l'Etna sa regalare. Staff gentilissimo, camere comodissime. La spa è una carezza dopo una giornata sul vulcano. Il ristorante è ottimo. Insomma, è il paradiso. Grazie a Pippo e a tutto lo staff della Locanda!

It's an amazing location up in the mountains in the shadow of mount Etna ! From the moment we parked we were welcomed by Valentina to the moment we departed the staff and service was outstanding. The team is awesome - Peppe, Giuseppe, Rosario, Mary, Andre, Rossella,Irene and Valentina all were super cool and welcoming. Amazing place and super service and people. Dinner was another amazing experience and so was the customised breakfast ! Giuseppe - You might want to start a mushroom hunting activity for guests ;-)
