Pros:

Everything in the rooms and bathroom were premier quality.
Breakfasts were terrific- good choices and excellently cooked and presented.
Bar area was comfortable and welcoming.

Cons:

Not enough places to store clothes.

We had a lovely two nights at the Shoregate and look forward to returning soon.
Pros:

Breakfast was outstanding. Lots of choice and perfectly cooked and presented.
Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. All staff were very friendly and professional.
Had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent and enjoyed a drink in the cozy pub.

Cons:

Couldn’t fault anything about our stay.

Great choice for a short stay
Pros:

The hotel retains old world charm with quirky modern touches. The rooms are stunning, comfortable and luxurious. Little extras such as hand made macarons and a local gin were very welcome. Food was fabulous, as was service. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful village of Crail and a short walk to the picturesque harbour. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel if you want to go to St Andrews without the car. A great choice for a short break and will definitely be back.
