Aceptable, volveria!!
Pros:

Desayuno poca variedad y de baja calidad. Pero cumple para tomar un cafe y comer algo antes de salir a disfrutar de Edimburgo. A media manana hay mil cafeterias con mucho encanto para desayunar.

Cons:

Nos cambiaro la habitacion por una averia y nos recolocaron en dos. No nos bonificaron ni nada.

Not reccomended if you want good breakfast or a family room.
Pros:

Spent three nights. Personell, maintenance guy for the most part, were helpful and did what they could to help.
Tried to get breakfast for the last two days refunded, but that was denied due to the booking conditions from booking.com.

Cons:

Black mold in the bathroom when we came.
Continental breakfast was not good, and way below what we expected from a hotel at that price.
Bathroom door could not be closed properly. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable, and this coming from someone with an extra firm mattress at home.

Fabulous architecture, even better staff.
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at the Thistle Hotel. It's an older building with a few quirks, but that's all part of its charm. It has so much character, and we'd choose that over a generic modern hotel any day.
Our room was comfortable and it was a great place to come back to after a day spent exploring Edinburgh. The real highlight, though, was the staff. Every member of the team was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, and their kindness really made our stay.
The hotel's character is what first caught our attention, but it's the people who made it memorable. We'd happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable hotel with plenty of charm and exceptional hospitality.

Cons:

We were on the top floor, which did get a wee bit warm. A fan is included in the room. If you are sensitive to heat I would recommend requesting a lower floor, but we are also cold weather Canadians, so take this with a grain of salt.

Pros:

Läget var lugnt och bra. En kort promenad från buss och spårvagn mm.

Cons:

Vi fick ett rum i källaren med fönster mot personalens rökruta. Luften stod still i rummet och ingen möjlighet att öppna några fönster. Det fanns inte heller tillgång till fläkt på rummet.
